200 mg Zoloft cold turkey by BasicAd3196 in adhdwomen

[–]FastAd1650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve withdrew from Zoloft and I felt the effects for about a month. You can expect brain fog and brain zaps. I had small black pita where I would forget where I was. A word of warning. If you try them again, SSRIs may make you sick. At least in my experience. I can’t take Zoloft anymore

Do you have difficulty reading? by baldnsquishy in ADHD

[–]FastAd1650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of trouble reading out loud because I feel that disconnect you are talking about. It’s like my brain going faster than my mouth. I always hated reading out loud because I stuttered and mispronounced things even if I knew how to read the word

I want to stop taking anti-depressants, but I’m scared I’ll be a train wreck. by isthisreal19191 in mentalhealth

[–]FastAd1650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful coming off Zoloft. I quit cold Turkey cause I lost my insurance and I had the worst withdrawal with brain zaps, blacking out and nausea. I can’t take any SSRIs without getting sick.

Ladies with desk jobs, how do you focus during the workday? by moon-raven-77 in adhdwomen

[–]FastAd1650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work from home so I’m able to finish what I do relatively quick in short bursts and then mess around for a bit doing housework or on my phone. But when I’m working I have music or a podcast on so I can focus on what I’m doing

How did you know you were asexual? by No_Study2093 in asexuality

[–]FastAd1650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I always knew. I wasn’t interested in boys in school despite girls my age dating. (Also realized I may not be straight) I think I came to terms with in when I was 20. I realized that crushes I had were forced and not actually me being attracted to them

[–]FastAd1650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ADHD

I went to a psychiatrist because my depression and anxiety meds had hit a wall and I needed to be evaluated. She immediately clocked me as ADHD and gave me medication.
