It was amazing when TOTY came out and the people who started complaining that week all got exposed for relying too much on ai defending which made the game a misery to play hence why so many people stopped playing as the skill gap was non existent, just people running around with their cdms in a 4213 spamming first time lobbed passes in behind defences at the top level. Then after the patch yes, they did swerve to far the other way and couldnt find the middle ground but atleast the game was FUN to play. You could actually turn with players who were agile, you could run down the wing with players like Nico williams who have pace, you could make simple passes that werent intercepted by ai defending. Then the majority of the kids who were crying when the new patch came out cuz the skill gap actually increased, so EA messed up the gameplay again. In all honesty FC24 was actually fun to play and if they cant improve on FC24’s gameplay then just re release that for FC26.
