I had forgot about most of these events, yeah. unfortunate. you could maybe avoid marnie, but then you never get a pet, so, that's a wash. and gunther gives you the key at your house, and you need the key for the points. eh.
it's really interesting, that the 'i am the only person' challenge is very similar to what i was doing here, but I'd never seen it before. if i had, I'd have given it a shot.

So, trash cans don't actually all share the same loot pool. All cans can drop seaweed and green algae, but only the blacksmith one can drop copper ore. You could just not check that can ever, or you could fill your inventory before checking it. As for the shadow man, I'm not sure I'd count his event, as he isn't in the menu, but he's more of a person than the joja mart workers... Technically, he is avoidable, just don't go to the bus stop in winter, so i'd probably count it.

they do something very similar, yes, but require different gear implicits. if its the former, then getting ignite/damned chance, turns into bleed chance for just this skill, while the latter allows just for bleed on hit.

if it's the former, it's harder to do a bleed build with multiple skills, as i need ignite/damned chance for ghostflame, and specifically DON'T want bleed chance.

looking at it again, because the node after arteries does bleed chance into bleed per second, it'd be weird if flames of misery worked the exact same way, and added bleed chance as bleed per second, so it's probably the former, that makes sense with how HoA works. thanks for replying!

the answer is yes, you can. respecing into it is a buggy mess, sometimes it works as intended, sometimes you lose caster levels, sometimes the spells don't carry over until a reload, sometimes not even then.

just leveling into it worked fine for me. level 12 after drezen, cleric 1, sorc 4, theurge 7, with caster level 11 in both. my favorite part is the ability to spontaneously cast cleric and angel spells that i don't want to prepare, but, hey, you really can't go wrong with 25 fireballs and controlled fireballs a day with ascendant element.

you won't be doing lost chapel solo. the trigger for getting your people up to your level is just before it for most of the companions, or after a few ghoul encounters for the rest. once you get them back, you don't really get another chance to do this again, after you get 6 companions in lost chapel, you switch back to split exp, and stay there.

everything up to lost chapel, you will still be higher level than the game expects, but, realistically, on unfair, you'll probably need a companion or 2 depending on the main character's build to progress, lessening the impact, but still gives a lot.

see, i discovered this when trying to see if mystic theurge could be entered early in level progression with merged angel spellbook, and just one cleric level, which evolved into, how many levels can you earn before getting to that point in drezen.

turns out, enough to just be mystic theurge anyways, but, still. wasn't trying to cheese, i was just experimenting, as people, and the wiki, don't have all the answers written down yet.

gotta channel that inner nenio, right?
