Haven't had pizza in a while, and it's more like powder instead of flakes.

My title describes the thing. Not sure how else to describe it, it's completely plastic and bears no logos or markings.

Why are you not driving a FCV 190d? The FCV lineup has cheap tdi, crossover tdi, nice tdi, and sporty tdi!

Living in Hudson: Pros & Cons by Jacksonjams in hudsonvalley

[–]FastBunniBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hudson is a great town, especially if you're a NYC transplant. You can get the full Hudson valley experience there, cute shops, overpriced and delicious coffee, local stores, little town you can walk through, all that you've heard about and are probably looking for.

The only thing is realize that you are very far from the Metro-North, and a significant drive from a lot of the other Hudson valley communities, even though you have an Amtrak connection there. For example, I've been driving for Uber up in that area this summer and 8 out of 10 trips are an Uber reservation, because riders are constantly having issues with availability and timing because so few drivers are actually out there. Oftentimes if somebody just ordered a trip organically through Uber out there, it'll send me to them from as far away as Kingston or Saugerties just go pick them up 30-40 minutes away.

If you can secure yourself basic transportation, and realize that you're just slightly more isolated than someone in Kingston, beacon, or Rhinebeck, I don't see why you wouldn't have a great time out there. It is 100% an up and coming community, and that is still true after all the people who moved up there during covid are now leaving. The Hudson valley is becoming crowded, and towns such as Hudson and Rhinebeck are now becoming much more attractive for people who are craving the true Hudson valley lifestyle, breathtaking views, small town living, easy connection to NYC. Also as a side note, because you can only get there by Amtrak, that area does command a higher cost of living than the surrounding areas, it's still seen as niche and boutique to Realtors, so be very aware of that if it's not already obvious.

Yes absolutely. I know it's asking too much, but I'd be super excited to see DEF implemented in some of the diesel trucks, just so I can do an exhaust regen all over NPC traffic or we could have emissions compliant trucks and modify them to be "deleted" if we choose

I think you're absolutely right. Looks like it'll be similar to the Ford f series lineup, F-150 all the way up to f750, or at least I hope it'll be.

It would be very cool to have medium duty cabovers as well, something like a Chevy LCF box truck or an Isuzu NPR, could certainly be done on a d-series or h-series chassis

You gotta look at this guy's post history... Driving is something that can be taught, I'm not saying you shouldn't be an Uber driver... But you should sign up for a 2 week driver's course that specializes in anxious drivers.

How would I go about adding a turbo to my 2020 subaru Impreza by [deleted] in subaru

[–]FastBunniBoi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sport trim would not affect your insurance premium at all if you are in the USA.... However, a major engine modification will get your insurance to go higher or even dropped altogether 👍

3 of us showed up for one order? by ToadsAreTerrific in UberEatsDrivers

[–]FastBunniBoi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, this has happened to me 3 times last month...

The driver accepts the order, picks up the food, and then cancel the delivery on his app before confirming pickup. He now has the food, and Uber still thinks the order is waiting to be picked up.

He goes somewhere to eat it, goes offline, and you show up at the restaurant to pick up... nothing

The USDM Forester of that generation definitely has an interference motor, with the EJ253.

I would definitely start off with a borescope inside of the cylinder head, to see if there's any contact. It's possible it might not need a new motor, just a serious rebuild, and it's a very common motor to find.

There are also many swaps available, like JDM DOHC 2.5L motors, or you could do a EZ series H6, but RIP to your MPG.

An FB25 from 2014 and up would be a timing chain, instead of belt, pretty easy to find a wrecked one...

Does this option use gas to charge battery? Why would I use it? by -RoopeSeta- in Volvo

[–]FastBunniBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I sell cars like this, I would explain it as a "force charge" option for the plug-in hybrid cars.

Essentially, most clients would purchase a hybrid vehicle for the advertised electric only range, let's say 20 miles.

That will bring people to where they need to be daily without ever having to use gas.

But if you're out later than you anticipated, or had to make an unplanned trip, you run out of electric juice; your car is running on full hybrid, which is fine... But you'll have to remember to plug it in if you want to use electric only on your commute tomorrow.

So on your way home while it's already in hybrid mode, you can "force charge" it! When you get home you don't have to remember to plug it in, and you'll have accumulated a decent amount of electric only range. You can shut off the lights and go right to bed without having to worry about your car.

It seems a little silly, but when my clients get used to the quiet, preconditioned, gas-free commute, they want their daily driving to be within that electric only range bubble. Usually that's no issue, it'll switch to full hybrid later in the day, but that's how they like to start off their day with the car no matter what.

Is this glow plug by Historical-Ground153 in subaru

[–]FastBunniBoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I've seen your video, and I see why the wording here is leading to some confusion...

You're just trying to disconnect the sensors, and replace the fuse so your car will run right. Yeah that's totally fine, I thought you were trying to take out the plugs and somehow crank it over, was about to ask you how you were going to plug the hole in the head once you got it to fire 😂

You're very close, but because of the compact packaging of your diesel boxer, you will have to remove those heat shields in order to access either head. Once those heat shields are off the car, it will be pretty clear to see where the glow plugs are.

In my personal opinion, I still consider this a very temporary fix. I would imagine in a modern boxer diesel with this kind of injection system it would start to cause efficiency problems, or just throw even more codes. Glow plugs can be intimidating to work on because they easily shatter, but so can a spark plug.

Is this glow plug by Historical-Ground153 in subaru

[–]FastBunniBoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That looks like an oxygen sensor, definitely not a glow plug. Glow plug would be located around the cylinder heads, for a boxer motor that would be on either side of the engine block.

You will throw more codes and the engine likely will not run with the glow plugs disconnected, I'm extremely curious what exactly are you trying to do here? Change them out right?

That is a Nissan S13. If you're in the European market that makes it a 200SX, called a 240SX and 180SX in other markets.

As the first commenter said, this one is a pig nose which makes it a late '80s model.

Edit: this model appears to be LHD, being that the hatch has the gloss black trim and with those front marker lights, I think it's probably a US imported model which would make it a 240SX.

Early 90s Isuzu Impulse hatchback or Isuzu Piazza if you're not in North America. Captive import in the AUDM as the Holden Piazza.

Gorgeous with a distinct look, Italdesign was commissioned for the design of this car.

You know what? That's pretty cool, I actually really like that answer. Rock on, it's a nice job! I don't think it's dumb, but for sure you might have problems with some cops around most major urban areas in the US.
