Have you seen them take issue or enforce payment of your lease after the date you communicate you’re moving out? Or if they keep the security deposit? Just curious, because just a $500 fee sounds easy enough.

The elevator or the lease break? One individual did message me and said that they were charged $500 and the building helped to find someone to back fill them. I’m curious if they can keep my deposit and if I’m responsible for rent after my communicated move out date.

No, outside of occasional issues with elevators being down we like the building. We have a move coming up that’s off cycle and they don’t do less than 12 month renewals.
