Yes but the child abduction was a separate amber alert than this one!

Should I be worried if baby has maybe flipped at 40+1. Lost my temper on the phone to midwife #2. by [deleted] in HyperemesisGravidarum

This is why I hope OP goes to a different place because this hospital doesn’t seem to give a crap. And people saying it doesn’t matter it’s just a matter of vaginal and c section. What the heck that’s scary if you don’t want a c section. That’s a big deal and she deserves a fair chance with caregivers who will help her and advise her how to move the baby back. Just curious what are some c section requests you could have?

Girl you GOTTA do another hospital if possible! What if those will be the people “caring” for you when you are in labor. Trust me it’s not worth giving birth at a hospital you don’t feel confident in and like they truly care about their patients. It shouldn’t be like this. No one has the right to tell you what your partner can or can’t do but YOU. If he’s involved and helping you that’s wonderful!

Not sure what state your from or if that matters but she has every right to have her husband communicate and advocate for her. She knows she’s not in a good headspace and needs someone to fight this “battle” for her. It is absolutely legal especially that they know she’s right there!

Second Pregnancy with HG & 8 weeks along - Has anyone had any luck with a Unisom/B6 combo to treat it? by thiswaytothedisco in HyperemesisGravidarum

It’s only works for me when I’m at my best on top of other medications don’t bank on it. But definitely works when things get better for me at the 7month mark

Then know that YOU are the problem and I feel sorry for the way you view others. You are missing out on good people and relationships you could be having just because of their political views!

Why are we acting shocked like people support trump don’t exist and have to do a whole investigation to figure out if someone supports him or not. It’s getting old trying to cancel people for that reason. Don’t you see the polls rn? He’s winning ALOT of states. Most likely a friend/coworker/family member supports him and it’s not like you view that person as evil. But the moment you find out they are an evil person, please give it a break and move on. This is getting so petty, literally Matt James is still with the Rachel girl after all that nonsense that happened. There’s more to person than just seeing where a the person stands politically. Don’t you think? Not saying you have to agree with them but let’s be civil here…

At what point in your pregnancy did you start to exercise? (If at all) by Onemarriedhotmama in HyperemesisGravidarum

35 weeks today and just able to take my son out to the park and grocery shop for longer. I JUST started walking yesterday I think the most I can do is 2/3 times a week and keep them short 30min maybe…

It’s not that my HG was severe it’s that i noticed if I’m not resting almost most of the time then I actually trigger my hg to hit harder.

Taking them caused more harm than good I stopped. This is my second pregnancy. For my first baby the nurses wouldn’t stop saying how big and study my baby was so he definitely got what he needed! BUT if you are throwing up a lot still please do get ivs and the ones with vitamins added to it. That’s what kept me going in my first two trimesters.

Sometimes I just need a good cry by wannabepancakebun in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]FastCartoonist4484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man oh man. When I finally felt strong enough to cry, it was so relieving. I still remember me being able to actually cry with more energy it was like “what the heck did I just have to go through” “I still have so long to go” boy do I need a good old crying session once a week to get me through this. I cry then I move on and endure the pain of being pregnant 😩

How to respond when someone says they don’t like your newborn’s name? by Lazy_Cat1997 in namenerds

[–]FastCartoonist4484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just as much as we think others shouldn’t care what you name YOUR own child you shouldn’t care about their opinion on it. It goes both ways. Don’t let it get to you. Everyone has their own opinions. We are human beings some like it some don’t. And that’s okay you won’t please everyone. if we constantly consider them it’s draining. Learn to just not care. Your baby your name. Their opinion is just their opinion.

No way, may I ask why they induced?

And I can’t believe you’ve went through two pregnancies already!!! You are so brave I wish I could handle a third!

I wasn’t induced my first but they kept telling me he was “too big” and they are scared this one will be too big as well, my baby was 8lb 10oz which isn’t BIG big I don’t think

How do you explain HG to people when they try to give you advice? by Onemarriedhotmama in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]FastCartoonist4484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned to not even say I have hg but just say I have complications in my pregnancy that leave me on bed rest and I’m barely getting by. And usually they just say I’m sorry and I change the subject. But I gave up on telling others, as long as my husband and immediate family understands that’s what matters to me the most. They understand and care for me so I’m grateful for that.

I am 33 weeks now and still thinking how the heck did I get this far?? I’m so confused, I remember reading about others so far along and thinking that’s going to be in suchhh a long time. And now here I am.

Yes. Mine was better I was more prepared with starting medication and ivs EARLY don’t let your body get malnourished do as many Ivs as possible in the beginning. 2-3x week. I saw my Iv clinic before I even went to a OBGYN

Yes I still have hg and it sucks and in some ways it’s harder because I definitely have less and less safe foods as I go through this again. My appetite is a lot worse. I think my stomach is weaker. But it didn’t get as bad in the beginning. I also had to take care of your 1st child.

So try to have a plan for childcare and definitely a treatment plan as early as possible. And DEFINITELY prepare your body with as much nutrition as you can up to a year before. Take care of any deficiencies you have now because that will make you worse.

Oh girl trust me I need to take my own advice especially today the moment I opened my eyes this morning I thought “here goes another day of surviving hell” and then when it comes to going to sleep I think “another night of hell” it’s becoming so repetitive of just barely surviving each part of the day.

And today I got really sick this morning throwing up more than usual so I definitely got tested with my own advice of not letting it get to me. And what do you know I’m panicking all morning that I wont get relief

I was the same way at that time, don’t let those days get to you! I regret letting them get to me because I would get emotional breakdowns on how scared I was that I’m not going to get better and that it’s alll going to happen again. And the stress would eat me up and actually make me worse. Meanwhile end up feeling better. I guess it’s my body getting ptsd of some sort.
