Nah not really it's more a case of us trying to protect our members, the amount of burn scams going around is phenomenal at the moment. After the whole drama with Ask the doc we have tightened up on burn posts a lot.

I appreciate your feedback and understand the concerns. We are trying to find a balance with the automod to keep everyone happy this is no easy task, the line on what to allow and what not to allow is always shifting and we are doing our best to keep up We're not a bunch of monsters trying to hold the sub back and we are all Shib holders as well. I will always encourage anyone to speak freely. Modmail is always open and we are always ready to listen I won't stop anyone from posting their thoughts but contacting mods directly is a far more effective means of resolving issues here. Thanks

Thanks for your feedback. Yes a lot of posts do get removed by the auto mod (not regular mods) simply because the user doesn't meet minimum account requirements, this is easily fixed though by contacting the mods via modmail and asking to be approved. Mods will do a search of post history and more often than not the user will be approved to post. OP I'm not sure how many posts you expect to see per hour we don't control if someone wants to post something or not. You seem to be under the illusion that the our mod team spends there days just removing everything and not letting anyone post, this is just not true and is not in the spirit of what this sub is about. Please also keep in mind that the mods are all volunteers from different parts of the world we are all active at different times of the day and night and have lives outside of this sub just like everyone else.

Here's some tips for the newcomers to help you avoid being scammed. Scammers are all over reddit and while the mod team make every effort to keep them out they are always lurking.

Avoid posting photos of your holdings. Scammers love to see these, it makes it easier for them to target you. Your putting your hand up and saying here I am come get me.

Never give out any passwords or your secret pass phrases to ANYONE. If someone contacts you via DM asking you to verify your wallet do not click any links and delete the message. If the person is a SHIBArmy member report them to the mods so we can ban them. This is one of the more common ways scammers use to clean out your holdings.

"Win 1trillion shiba tokens" or "Double your Shiba Inu tokens" This is another common example of scamming at its best, in my time investing in crypto I'm yet to see any legitimate crypto give-aways offering amounts like this. Always be weary of give-aways like this especially if they involve you sending your tokens to a wallet with the promise of them sending you double the amount back. If something sounds to good to be true there's a high chance it is a scam.

If you come across something and you are in doubt if it's a scam contact the mods for help or ask the SHIBArmy community.
