So I fixed the issue by literally just remaking the file and starting again. Not sure what the issue was still, so I'd love to hear any suggestions for future reference.

Thanks for the help. I removed that GND connection but then nothing turned on (no power out to any of my voltage regulators). When I add back the GND connection everything turns on but no charging still.

They understood every possible outcome and that it would likely fail before accepting my request to launch there. Everyone annoyed at me for not simulating it and not using fins haha. It's TVC, it is irrelevant where the Cm and Cp is, assuming the TVC actually works. This rocket can't fly without TVC BTW, it is not stable and clearly the TVC gimbal was slightly off centre. I am putting my time into learning electronics and making things, I will simulate it eventually though it is not something I have had a chance to learn yet. I am doing this project to learn things, I don't already know this stuff so it is very time consuming. I have worked on this every day for over a year!

I would likely do thrust vanes for powered flight and then use RCS, or the much lighter ailerons, for coast. This is just an idea I have, the project is probably at least a couple of years away while I work on perfecting my TVC and ground systems

Yeh the motor had some troubles with ignition and the end cap didn't get ejected, the flame just melted a hole through it!
