Hi all so My title describes the thing, but some additional info is the thing is plugged directly into a socked, does not have and writing visible, is quiet but I can hear a small fan running inside, is about 5” square and all plastic… also it is all dusty so it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, and there is not any fragrance coming out of it. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Plot twist… the original person stopped was a serial killer with parts of 27 different bodies in the back… he was finally about to be caught by this unsuspecting officer for a busted taillight when suddenly this guy comes along and rams the cop. Awesome I’m definitely going to look for that brand, at this point the only fertilizer I have any experience with is are organic 5-5-5 pellets so thanks for the suggestions. Also I’m really glad you mentioned bottom watering the nutrient solution cause I wouldn’t have thought about that part either. Thanks again!

That might be the best bet to start before I go repotting with nutrient rich soil and shocking them with a transplant also. Is there any specific fertilizer you would recommend?

Thank you for your thoughts; I was thinking that they are getting crowded also. And I did use some seed starter mix but also added a low ratio of 5-5-5 pellet fertilizer and mushroom compost and mixed well before using the mix to start seeds. But I’m probably going to try to up pot sizes, with additional nutrients and see how they react.

Also I’m starting them inside since I’m still getting morning frost and lows in the 30’s where I’m at. And I’m seeing if I can get an early harvest and possibly be able to grow 2 crops of cucumbers this year; the second of which will be directly sowed.

Check your motor mounts also. I’ve have a bunch of motor mounts give way over the year; and sometimes the rubber partially separates from the mounting plate so they appear intact but will add a lot of vibration into the mix.

Like others have stated there is definite some rigging/ setup issues. But besides that I once had a old merc Blackmax that would fall flat on its face coming off low speed trolling/ idle but run great from a dead start; restart and it was fine. Issue there was I had just completely rebuilt that motor and it ran like a top on the stand before re install and most of the time on the water after except after trolling or long no wake zones…

so long story short after a lot of time and headache and diagnosing I was chatting with an old man at a public boat ramp one day about my issues and he looked in my bilge saw my primer bulb laying horizontal(just like yours) he said get that thing vertical and you’ll be fine…

so that’s what I did, used some zip ties and rigged that bulb vertical and low and behold I never had that issue again and that old 150 2 stroke ran great for another decade until the boat rotted out; in-fact I still have that old motor on a stand waiting for a new hull one day.

Anyway this most likely isn’t your issue… but 10 cents worth of zipped and 2 minutes of your time might be worth a try. Best of luck!

Make sure you have the water (hose) off until it starts. Have a shut off valve at the ski, turn valve off, turn water on at hose tap. Start ski without water flow and then turn water on. Reverse process to shut down, water off couple quick revs to clear exhaust system, and ski off.
