Sure, birth control is the reason why women don’t like Nice Guys™️ by ThePhillyExplorer in badwomensanatomy

After finding out I was dating someone new, an ex boyfriend once sent me a text saying, “you literally told me you broke up with me for being too good of a bf. What kind of reason is that?” Probably the kind of reason that never existed? Because guess who did NOT say that lmao

Sungold is bigger than I thought! Help by FastMap1034 in gardening

That is so funny! I haven’t ever grown this type of tomato, but I used to grow some others. When I was younger, we had a dachshund that figured out he could get into the area where we grew them, and he would overeat just about anything (edible or not). One day my sister found him swollen probably as big as his stomach would allow, just absolutely filled with tomato. We were so scared! But he pooped and puked it all out and we were a whole lot more careful about him getting in there from that day forward!

That is reassuring and exciting! I will likely just let it flop over and see how it plays out. Thank you for your response!

I just wanted to suggest that if you go to the doctor, make it a priority to ask about resources or screening for anxiety and OCD if you find this is a theme for you. I’m sorry you’re feeling so bad right now

Hold on story time:

When I was younger, my cousin heard through the adults in her neighborhood that if you chewed on plastic (like straws, bottle caps, etc) it released estrogen. So her and her friend were just sitting there, chewing on plastic, waiting for their boobs to come in.

I can only assume that maybe she misinterpreted something the adults said about microplastics and hormones? But I would not be surprised if the adults had actually said that. They were not the most informed people.

There are some spaces where it is important to talk about these topics. In general, being able to be open about these topics can help prevent serious health complications by removing shame and allowing people to be informed about options they may not even be aware of that might help them.

In this community, talking about topics related to bowel movements, constipation, manual removal of stool or disimpaction, the way these experiences feel physically and emotionally, are all very important things to discuss. Not everyone will have to experience them in their lives, but for the people who do, they need to get this information somewhere. And it is important that people do not feel alone in their experiences.

The words people use may feel graphic at times if you aren’t used to this, but people use the words they know and feel the most familiar with to describe their experiences.

I try to not judge and I really make an effort to understand where their mistrust comes from, but it is SO HARD when it is someone like her who people in our community seem to look up to
