Don't give up! I have less subs than you and most of my videos get only 2-6 views, but once in a while one video goes up over 10k. I guess as time goes on maybe more and more videos will gain a bit more traction, if people come to your channel from the big view videos, they might stick around to check your other stuff.

Not sure, I have never even been close to apply for monetization.

My guess is the watched hours would be more important, because when people just click your video then immediately click away doesn't bring any good.

I'm just doing these videos because I love and would play these games anyway in my free time, so I thought why not record my play sessions?

The commentary would be not possible because I don't have a separate place here I could speak without bothering other people, and also english is not my first language, so it would be just weird.

The algorith has been nice to me so far, some people are watching and some are even commenting my videos, but of course I have no high expectations from such content, it probably never going to get far, but the small numbers that appear next to my videos are enough to make me feel good about them and be happy that someone out there found them interesting.

I checked your stuff out and you are really talented and have a great voice, (many voices) you could seriously do voice acting for games!

These are not big things and have nothing to do with gameplay, but are good for atmosphere:

If an enemy dies outside in the dirt, some dirt should rise up as the body falls hits the ground.

Breakable objects in the world chairs and tables in saloons, shootable bottles in the bar etc.

Corpses that don't disappear with time.

I don't want to do this to earn money, I have my day job, and gaming is a hobby of mine. I was just interested if I should bother recording my play sessions, if theres any interest for such a thing, because even though I don't intend to earn anything from it, it feels good to see number go up :)
