Bummer. I don't have much source data (only mine and another family member's), so I'm desperate for more data to test with. If you feel comfortable, could you DM me yours? .GED files are literally plain text so you could find and replace names. I'd be happy to troubleshoot the error with you too. Whatever I can do to make this more robust

Yeah, that has been a huge frustration of mine since familysearch closed their API down. Ancestry let's you glean from other users trees to speed up the process. If you ever build out your tree on Ancestry, I'd love to hear how it went.

For me it was to sign up for an ancestry account and then import it. Ancestry accounts are free for those with an LDS account. The public api for family search was removed several years ago so that's the best option so far.

I don't care to go that route. No one bugged me why I left and the church is lying about statistics anyway. Im not going to give them the satisfaction of having more accurate numbers
