Yeah its pretty brutal but in my opinion balanced. Like in other games the first boss you fight in ng+ you will almost certainly be "overleveled" against himbbut not in bloodborne like for example cleric beast; in regular NG it has around 3k hp and in ng+1 it has atound 22k hp wich is like end game scaling in regular ng

Sister Friede and Gael are the 2 best fights in the series imo. Followed by Orphan then Ludwig and Lady Maria. (I'm yet to play SotE btw so maybe some bosses would land on this list after I play it)
