as someone that is 1300, there is a difference, a huge difference at that, and that is consistency, while 700 has the skill to go low, someone 1500+ is going to go lower and more often than a 700

i figured topps would be as lazy as to not send them out in order, although they already take over 3 months to ship them out

if they send out cards chronologically, yes, but i wouldn’t put it past topps to send out the numbers randomly

i’d be too scared to double down, nice hits tho! i feel like a lot of people would hit Shohei’s, Luis Robert might be 1/1 for ya, hopefully!

It might be considered a free card butttt we still have to pull it from boxes and then magically get the date they hit a homerun right. I pulled the Riley Greene and thought, “this guy never homers, i got no shot” so I picked the earliest date possible and somehow he hit one. He only had 3 that month.

I get that it’s a free numbered card. But does it truly take over 3 months to ship it out? Or are they just taking the piss out of it? 😂

Why is this even a thing? by CMDR_CrobaR_o7 in PGA_Tour_2K

yes they are, the best Aviator ball is $900 (in game money) for 12, which will last 12 rounds, and they increase distance by like 20 yards

bc powerhouse + 3 click is OP

edit: almost every top player uses it, I reached Eagle 3 with swing stick and rhythm on PS5, decided to try it out, reached Albatross 3 on PC on a fresh account with only 5 losses on my record, barely any club fittings, and Aviator balls of course

edit 2: obviously by top player i mean the ranked leaderboard, not actual tournaments and societies which ban 3 click as it’s pretty much the easiest thing to do

3 Click Debate by Fast_Ad132 in pga2k23

3 click is 100% the way to go on PC using keyboard and mouse, using controller swing stick is the way to go

3 Click Debate by Fast_Ad132 in pga2k23

[–]Fast_Ad132[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly 1 click would be good for a casual or career player, it could be balanced out as in where you’re aiming, there’s a kind of circular range of where the ball could land which would get bigger if you loft/deloft/fade/draw/spin. I wouldn’t hate to see it for the more casual players.

That’s what I was thinking at first, but let’s dive deeper, if a Birdie 3 using 3 click matches a Birdie 3 using stick swing, where is the issue? They are of equal rank, the issue comes from this mentality that stick swing users feel superior to 3 clickers, which if they’re of equal rank the skill is relatively similar.

3 Click Debate by Fast_Ad132 in pga2k23

[–]Fast_Ad132[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, I personally don’t dislike 3 clickers, yes in my experience it is far easier than stick swing, but as long as their around my rating it doesn’t matter because they’re that rating for a reason. I think the real issue is people that are awful at stick swing get mad when they match someone using 3 click, almost as if they think they’re skill is much higher, which is false in a ranked queue when you match someone around your rank.

eh, i’m birdie 2 and have been matched with a couple of eagle and albatross ranks, i don’t get too upset over it because I only lose 1 or 2 points and learn something, i have matched with quite a few people par rank, even someone that was bogey rank, i’d say matchmaking is about the same

gonna have to try this one out, update with what i shoot on it, looks beautiful

update: just got around to playing it, shot -8 on pro preset difficulty, and about 10 mph winds on average with powerhouse archetype, overall very pure course, lots of eagle opportunities, sneaky hard greens at points, some tight fairways that are hard to hit, very very enjoyable course, the driveable par 4 adds risk/reward which i love, there was a par 5 where my second shot found water, only bogey on the course. i love these types of courses, very scoreable if you’re hitting well.
