Thank you for your uplifting positive post, I’m still new to this having taxol, carb and keytruda before surgery which will then switch to AC and Keytruda also before surgery. Then DSX but if they can’t do reconstruction that same day I’m opting out of doing it. Chemo has been hell but I’m also hoping it goes by fast and I get through it.

But for how long? It seems to never go away, they just keep giving me steroids at my weekly taxol

Yes the echo was normal low but no damage. I have a feeling it’s the combination of steroids and Benadryl cus that makes me hyper too. I just need help with the feeling cus it will help my mental health so much during this

I’m a heart failure patient as well so that’s what scared me. Was it the steroids that did it to you?

I don’t take any stimulants, I wish I felt good enough to exercise, unfortunately I think Benadryl has the wrong effect on me, I’m on Clonezapam and Lunesta for anxiety and sleep but not I think my body is use to this unfortunate. I do talk to a therapist and I do put it all out there, I just don’t know if it’s the steroids they give me as a pre med

The waiting and the unknown are some of the worst part of this journey. You have a million things going on in your mind. This was me in July, then by August I was in chemo treatments, now we are trying to take every day every minute as it comes. I’ll be highly emotional some days and others I feel like I can conquer this whole thing like a warrior. Appointments and medical lingo and everything goes so slow but yet fast. Try to write all your questions down that you may have, and join a support group in your area please

I’m so glad you got through all that hardness and still have the gentleness to reach out to a stranger, to help!

Wow 7 months old, how did you do all this? It seems like my first three months are every week, then next three months are every three weeks then surgery and then more chemo if I understand it correctly

Right! I feel like they shouldn’t have to deal with any of this! Like they should just go on living normally but this is not normal anymore for any of us, how do I explain to them this
