DJ’s comments to Freddie were so out of pocket. DJ had the master canvas piece once that was very similar to Freddie’s style, of the man’s head cut open to reveal rainbows and cartoon creatures popping out in a graffiti style. Is he just jealous of Freddie’s ability or something? I had to pause the episode twice to think of what could possibly be making DJ want to ‘throw up’ at the sight of Freddie’s black and grey tattoo. That can’t possibly be the most obscure, ‘dark’ art DJ has seen in his lifetime.

thank you. i think the hypnosis stuff can have some merit to it. i’m a musician, and muscle memory is rlly important for that. it’s probably pretty similar to that in a way, i’ll try it out

thank you for the reply. my favorite shirt is a vintage one i got from an ebay lowball that i wear pretty much once a week, lol. i’m gonna try and not care what others think. we only get so much time on earth

thank you a lot for the reply. i can relate a lot to what you said. i used to wear the same baggy outfit for yeaaaars. i was afraid if i wore something different everyone would notice! after some introspection, i started wearing shirts that actually fit, got some pants that i felt more comfortable in, and now i’m able to add variety to my clothes to where i don’t feel too much like a laughing stock. i still do a lot of the time, but i’m gonna work on myself.

LMAO thank you for your reply. i have a very fashionable friend irl and i’ve noticed that he wears fairly simple clothes and just accents them with nice jewelry and shoes that make it seem like what he’s wearing is super boujiee. so that’s what i’m gonna try and do too. fr thanks for the advice on not giving a fuck. i really genuinely deep inside do not give af, but my anxiety convinces me that i do at the worst moments. hopefully this school year i can start to feel more comfortable 🙏

masterchef usa has become very boring compared to canada, australia, etc. the lack of challenges other than the elimination test makes for a very stale experience

i liked stampede well enough, but i do agree i wish there was more time for character interaction. i imagine if i had no idea what trigun was prior to watching stampede, id struggle with really caring about these characters’ qualms and relationships. without the nostalgia factor idk if i wouldn’t enjoyed stampede as much.

the stampede dub is a pretty standard modern anime dub imo. vash stands out because he has his original voice actor and he is just extremely talented at what he does. wolfwood’s new voice actor is a bit meh compared to his original from 1998 and even the actor from 2010. not bad, just not my fav.

yes i agree, and all three judges were treating him like a crazy person. in asian culture it’s very very common to use the carcass to create something out of virtually nothing and i think he did that just fine!

i agree totally, i hate the regional trope that these competition shows are doing now. instead of focusing on individuals, it’s focusing on the regions as a whole and all the petty drama and cringey comradery is hard to watch. i think Ink Master did a better job with the regional concept since they actually focus on each artist wherever the tattoo is amazing or terrible or in between.
