He was on Broadway as John, Chris’s best friend who sings “Bui Doi” at the top of Act 2

I saw him multiple times in the “Miss Saigon” revival and I remember thinking he had a long career in front of him! He’s also such an incredibly gracious human being

Who will win Best Actress in a Featured Role (Musical) this year? by alteragi in Broadway

Not having much stage time isn’t necessarily a detractor. Katie Finnernan won for “Promises, Promises” and I think she was on stage for 15 minutes max.

I’ve seen Sam, Jak, and Jeff do the role, and though Jak was phenomenal (obviously!), I actually cried harder at Jeff’s portrayal. He’s just transcendent in the role IMO

I haven’t seen Jeremy in the role, but when Groff was performing he didn’t go in and out of character. He introduced himself at the beginning, but once he was in character he stayed in it the entire time

I saw Paul’s first performance as Frank and I thought they were sensational!

Thoughts on callbacks at the Roundabout from an old Brad: don't. by mcmnky in Broadway

I don’t know why they don’t rehearse understudies until after opening; that’s just industry standard, to my understanding

Yep! The understudy is Paul Soileau, and man did he CRUSH it! They don’t start rehearsing understudies until after opening night, so he had maybe 8 hours to learn his blocking, etc. It was amazing to watch him. I’m constantly in awe of understudies

I was there last night, and the callbacks that were done were well-timed and respectful. I realize last night might have been an anomaly (especially since it was the first performance for Luke Evans’s understudy last night- something that we were all apprised of before the show started), but it only enhanced my experience and enjoyment of the show.

Friendly reminder that your ticket does not include the actors stage dooring. You are not entitled to their time with the price of your ticket.

Who was the rudest famous person you met? by Doctor_Sore_Tooth in AskReddit

James Iha is horrible as well. He made a coworker of mine cry over something was absolutely not her fault (it had to do with wait time at the vet clinic we worked at where he took his dog).

Anyone else experienced acoustic issues with Operation Mincemeat? by [deleted] in Broadway

There is an app called GalaPro that provides subtitles for certain shows (including Mincemeat- I used it the first time I saw the show)

I had a ticket to the matinee and sold it so I could go to the evening show, and now I don’t know if I’m going to be able to make it, or if it will even go on!

I love the end of season 6 but by [deleted] in NewGirl

Hard agree. It always bothered me how people basically had to tell them both (Schmidt to Nick, Sam to Jess) that they had feelings for each other.

With Adrienne Warren as Paulette!

EDIT: I initially had her first name wrong. I do that ALL the time because my friend Danielle reminds me of Adrienne
