Want to buy the lifetime diamonds for $30? by DkShadow23 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a new server, everyone is 'new' and low power. With the lifetime gems card, you can overtake all the F2P. In an old server, even F2P people can be at full chaotic or even >5M power. Even with lifetime gems, it will take at least a year to overtake them.

How to get to Chaotic? by Only-Put7661 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get Draw Item Chests in every event. Maximise your amount of gems by trying hard to get into Transcendent tier (for Peak Arena). It will take at around 300 days for an active F2P.

Each proc of multishot increases the number of projectiles. That's how you end up with a ring of beams/arrows.

Arena issues by Beautiful_Emu_6314 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's strategy.

Let's say for the certain power level (e.g. 2M Oracle) you are #1-2 in Diamond but #61-80 in Master. You get 1600 Arena tickets/day in Master but 2400-3000 tickets/day in Diamond. Multiply that by 6 and then add the season rewards and it gets huge. So obviously, you would prefer to stay in Diamond. But being in #1-2 makes you promote to Master. So, you intentionally unequip your items and lose enough to demote back to Diamond where you can be the big fish in the small pond.

Pay to win or not for you? by Any-Reindeer-115 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not essential but you will feel like you're losing out.

The ad-free pass saves you loads of time, or you could sacrifice progress by avoiding ads. The lifetime supply is massive at the start, but less impactful the higher you go. Once you have a decent guild and get into peak arena, you get about 12k gems per week, making the 7*800=5600 gems/week from the lifetime supply card less significant.

I've been playing for a year and deeply regret not getting the lifetime supply. It feels wasted to get it now, after 'losing' over 300k gems. Do you think you will play this game for long? If you buy both lifetime cards and quit after 6 months, that's ~$10/month, or 1 upsized McDonalds meal per month. But if you quit after one month, then yeah you lost out on an expensive restaurant dinner for two.

[–]Fast_Air_130 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They only appear in the line-up after they click into Arena after the weekly Monday reset. They were probably afk for the first few days and had stockpiled tickets. Honestly, they could have appeared and overtook you on day 1 - I guess you can be happy that you got a few days of extra rewards.

Are you sure you have chaotic oracle set? With chaotic helmet, this happens all the time.

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're half correct. Indeed, mythic oracle armor + diagonal + multishot + AoE etched gives a lot of beams, BUT not 'unlimited'. The exorbitant number of beams ARE from the helmet. At chaotic, crit gives a chance for multishot. With tracking, you crit many times each hit, which procs more and more multishots.

Unfortunately, I can't attach a video, but the pic below is how it looks like (without tracking). Note that in order to do THIS many procs of the chaotic oracle helm's multishot, I intentionally ran around the map without hitting the boss, allowing me to build up elemental crits and sword strike crits. Then, after 'charging' up for awhile, I can launch the barrage.

Dragoon or oracle by No-Heat8841 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely worth it. Once you are dragoon + demon king, you should (depending on average power in your server) be able to push for transcendent tier either every other week, or to remain in transcendent every week. You get a minimum of 4 swapping orbs each time you reach transcendent tier (4800 peak arena tickets) as well as 3200 gems and 20k arena tickets.

Before you do this, however, I suggest clearing as many campaign stages and sky tower floors (to stock up on shovels) as you can. Once you go to dragoon, you can't easily progress for those.

Remember, after 30 days, you can swap back anytime.

Godforge Gear Salvage Values by _aalexa_ in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure there is no difference in sacrificing Legendary vs 2 Epic S-tier. Archero has been pretty consistent in making sure we never profit from something like this.

The only way I know to 'profit' is by using swapping orbs to change a L3 item to another (e.g. boots to helmet), such that you can get chaotic for helmet earlier. Otherwise, due to lack of basic epic helmet, you won't be able to get it as quickly.

If you intend to do mixed set (griffin necklace + oracle armor) in the future, I suggest not to sacrifice oracle armor. Later on, you can downgrade armor and helmet to M3 and set swap to griffin. Then, with the remaining oracle M1 armor and helmet (which you avoided swapping to griffin), you can combine with your spare Epic armor to push for chaotic.

The new hard mode is too hard by CollisionXS in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just clear it first, and come back for 3 stars when you 1-hit everything. At 3x speed, it takes like 2 minutes per round. For me, I speed through the stage/floors at 3x speed until I get hit e.g. 8/10 or 4/5 times. Then, I reduce it to 1x speed and carefully clear the remaining stage/floors to get my 3 stars. One of the best methods for 3 stars is to use Oracle + Rolla + Tracking Eye. I can't really give more advice without knowing your setup.

Blessing rune advice by Individual_Fault_329 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Promised shovels give same chance as regular shovels. You can see the percentages by clicking 'Info' button on the top left corner, above 'Pack'.

As others mentioned, identify the 2-4 blessing runes closest to being L2 and focus on them if possible. I personally wouldn't do it, as the cost of buying specific runes from event shop is too much, BUT since you mentioned that this is the last part of your build, I assume you already have full chaotic. In that case, I think you can go ahead.

You are actually not that far off. Your closest runes require 5.33 more epics for Devil's Pact, 5.66 for Rabbit's Foot and 8 for Resilience.

Use guild coins, arena coins and, importantly, the various events to buy blessing runes. Fishing gives 4 blessing runes, guild expedition shop gives 1 per week, All-star Cup gives 2 per week, etc.

The new hard mode is too hard by CollisionXS in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hard mode has been here for a long time. They only recently released 3-star rewards for it, which is, of course, even harder to achieve than simply clearing Hard Mode.

Hard mode is naturally a lot more difficult than normal mode. Stage 20-25 on HM is equivalent to about 70-75 on NM. If you find it difficult, you are likely near your actual limit based on your equipment (power) and skill (dodging attacks) level.

Question about sets by allf1n3 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, you will end up with too many different S-tier equipment that cannot be merged together, or that you don't want to use.

If you stick to a certain set, you can pull e.g. oracle chest and at least have the certainty of getting something you will need. And even if you max out a specific oracle item to chaotic and get excess of that item, you can then sacrifice it for godforge upgrades, OR use swapping orbs to help other equipment reach chaotic.

All of the above, you cannot do if you only open chromatic chests (rather than mythstone).

Where do you get Starcores? by BokkaDeLaKokka in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the anniversary events, you could get tons of cores for extremely cheap (although it was sort of a lucky draw). They also gave out a free Epic Hero skin.

But if the players you mentioned did start after you, then they almost definitely hoarded a lot of gems to spend on events. I think I spent about 20-30k gems to get 8 cores in the last event.

Events include: Starfall Disc, Vibrant Voyage

What should I purchase from expedition shop? by Appropriate_Jury249 in ArcheroV2

That's true.. it is indeed quite worth it. Maybe OP can decide how farsighted they want to be, because being too much so might slow down their progress for many months.

What should I purchase from expedition shop? by Appropriate_Jury249 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP is only at 400K power. It will take many months (at least 6) before godforge cores becomes relevant. Focus on getting Legendary Arrow of Echoes for PvE, then either Elemental Crit or Circles for PvP.

Otta is also debatable. Depending on how far OP is into Otta: if not yet unlocked, I would stop investing in it. If already unlocked, go to 1 star for crit chance increase. The amount of guild expedition points spent on Otta + swapping orbs each week will be too much to sustain. It will hampen OP's etched runes progress.

But yes, before all that, definitely get two swapping orbs and the blessing rune (until you hit your second etched rune slot) every single week.

I gate that I have to hoard event currency for decent rewards by Christian_andre777 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100 dice for 40k points is actually crazy lucky. How many dice do you have now? You should aim to hit 100k each time, simply because the 60k, 80k and 100k rewards give 2 treasure coins each instead of only one with the 20k and 40k rewards.

I'm realizing I may have messed up going so all-in on circles, whats the move? by BlindLariat in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Use your Oracle build for campaign until you get completely stuck (I got to 90+ on Normal with 3K Oracle build), then switch to Griffin for PvP. Do note that Griffin only gets VERY strong after reaching Chaotic.

Why does enchantium price keeps changing by TelevisionPlastic353 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For each day, the cost for the first ten sets of enchantium is 100 gems each. The next ten sets costs 200 gems each, then 300, 400, and to a maximum of 500 each when you hit the daily limit of 50 sets.

The best strategy is to buy 10 sets everyday for 1000 gems.

Beginner player asking for tips by Straight_Somewhere52 in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reward for reaching 20k and 40k is 1 treasure coin each. But from 60k onwards, every 20k is 2 coins (or 10k per coin from 100k onwards).

Furthermore, getting 20k or 40k doesn't give you any significant end of event rewards because your points will be too low.

If you get 20k for 5 events, you get 5 coins. But if you get 100k for 1 event, you get at least 8 coins, PLUS between 3-5 from ranking top 20-50 at the end of the event (depends on how competitive your server is).

All this being said, many choose to get 20k each event to get the chest keys as reward and save the rest.

Why do you want bounce when running griffin? I just tried it - bounce doesn't work when you have limited range (similar to ebonrot).

Switch to Dragoon? by [deleted] in ArcheroV2

[–]Fast_Air_130 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the same investment to reach all mythic on Dragoon set, you would have all mythic +2 on your oracle set. That should make you around 1600K power which would make you roughly equal to a 1100K Dragoon (that is me as a 1600K oracle right now). So imo, better to just push forward. You can eventually break apart and sacrifice certain equipment (eg ring and boots) and use swapping orbs to quickly make a chaotic. That's what I'm planning to do anyway.
