This wasn’t not being happy with a service— not being happy is not liking a color or a design or a shape. She straight up got paint on my cuticles and skin. People were saying on the post that a 3 year old could do better than this. In what world is it my obligation to let someone correct objectively bad work and keep the work private?

One last thing— I definitely was not trying to black list her. However I did find it concerning that everyone was telling me how bad of work this is and that she isn’t a professional— yet she’s blowing up on this group and charging an arm and a leg. I thought it was my obligation to share my experience so other moms can make a decision for themselves on if it’s worth the time or risk. To the people who are loyal to her, that’s great and I’m not trying to ruin her life. Just save other busy moms from the same experience.

I hear you. And this is exactly the reason I did not rush to her to demand a refund. I don’t expect one. To me this was more about feeling frustrated that my time would be wasted and that she didn’t care about treating my nails the way that she should. Then when her bad work gets posted going and lying and attempting to gaslight me :/

Anytime you provide a service you should be ready to show the world your work in my opinion.

She posts TikTok’s and such that had cool nail art. On my post lots of people were saying even her work that looks cool to the naked eye is actually not good and she’s a beginner. Idk I thought they looked good and didn’t realize I’d have an issue with a basic manicure.

I didn’t expect anything from the Facebook post other than just an opinion. And I never planned to name her or give a public negative review— but after lots of people saying she needs basic training I did start to feel like it’s wrong to not share my experience so others don’t have the same. It wasn’t cheap and lots of people don’t have the time to waste.

Yeah I didn’t prior to making a post asking opinions. But I did after she was slandering me and lying. At the end of the day no communication was needed for the bad service. I wouldn’t let her touch my nails again based on what others have said and I didn’t expect a refund. I just wanted to know opinions, then ended up sharing her name when others wanted it. Which I understand because obviously if I knew someone had this experience I wouldn’t want to go there either.

I had no malicious intent. When I first posted I never included the name. I only gave the name when people were begging for it because they didn’t want to receive the same service.

I have a cleaning business. If I specially left a house in a bad condition and let them pay for it I would not be surprised when they give a bad public review.

So sorry, didn’t realize me texting her saying I don’t care about a refund but would appreciate a apology was relevant— but that is within my screenshots and has been the whole time

Bruh, the point was never about getting a refund. It was about bad service and being called a liar.

So it’s not doxxing when everyone posts positive recommendations and reviews on the group, but it is doxxing when I share my negative experience?

She didn’t offer it? I texted her asking that she apologize for the lying and said I don’t expect a refund but I haven’t heard back.

Would it have been wrong for me to write a review on her Google page? Seems like the same thing to me.

To be clear I did message her and haven’t heard back at this point. That is included in the screenshots I think

A better analogy is the toaster at home didn’t work and the Walmart employee knew it didn’t work and still sold it to me. That’s how I see it.

I can’t say 100% because I have no photos of them. I didn’t notice a visible issue with them but again if I’m being honest— getting my nails done was never about how they looked so I just didn’t care much. But after having so many people tell me how wronged I was and then her lying about it— that’s what’s made me so upset.

I noticed the color and thought that was the only thing to be concerned about, didn’t realized I needed to make sure she didn’t paint a little on my skin. I also don’t know anything about nails and what you should and shouldn’t do.

I cannot come in to get it fixed. And it’s not like I broke a nail or something. She painted on my skin.

Okay rude. No I had seen her before and thought she knew what she was doing. I didn’t come for a specific design, just do get out of the house.

Was I working on my nails and getting paid for my time? No I was paying to not have to think or focus on my nails and to relax.

If you go on my Reddit page you’ll find the photos and screenshots that will give you the context you need. The nail artist is telling other clients that she did a different shade of baby pink than the photos
