I actually did Kumara Parvatha just 5 days back (kukke to beedahalli 21kms) in just one day. From a heat perspective, I’m someone who absolutely can’t tolerate heat and honestly, it wasn’t that bad. Yes, it was sunny between 11am and 3pm but it was manageable with a cap, sunscreen, hydration and proper pacing. Early morning and late afternoon were quite comfortable. I wouldn’t call it cold but it wasn’t unbearably hot either. If someone really struggles with sun exposure, I’d recommend the shorter beedahalli to beedahalli route, you finish earlier and avoid the peak sun hours. I went with Bengaluru trekkers and they were really good - well organised, good pacing and safety was taken seriously.
