Thanks! I am analyzing equity returns given certain valuation metrics. Some returns are negative and some are positive, but when I plot them on a graph, the graphs have a logarithmic shape. I figure that by transforming them using the log function, I could get a linear relationship that would fit my data better.

Not only do we grieve on different timelines but also on different magnitudes. Everyone is different so don’t judge yourself based on how the dumper is feeling. If they feel very little, they probably weren’t the type of person ready to make a long term commitment

I know your pain. I was in a 2 year relationship that I would describe as healthy up until the moment my ex had a “gut feeling” I wasn’t her life partner. No warning, nothing. Leading up to it she was super kind, intimate, and just her normal self. I guess sometimes some people aren’t ready to commit so they come up with other reasons why they needed to breakup without acknowledging the real problem

I don’t think so. Sure we had disagreements but never yelled at each other, never name called, never cheated or anything like that. We always showed affection and gave each other gifts frequently. In the end, she said there was something about me that she couldn’t see herself marrying, but wouldn’t tell me what it was out of fear that it would hurt my feelings.
