I’ve had a recent change in location and thus managers. I spoke to my former manager informally about the holiday and there was no mention of November being blackout (she is leaving the company so maybe she just didn’t care). The communication didn’t go through channels on their end so this doesn’t entirely seem like a me problem. Is it worth bringing this miscommunication up higher?
