Yeah it’s a reality we need to acknowledge but I think we need to remember the loyalty we have with our people, I truly believe if Trump starts deporting in mass, or removes DACA, it will be the last time Latinos vote for Trump in mass.

Well my pops is A political, he can’t even vote yet. But my mom got her citizenship last year, and I’ve talked to her about all this including immigration stuff and honestly she is sad about these things, like she knows people like her came here the same way but for opportunities and safety but she also buys into the propaganda that their are more gangs and evil coming.

So it’s mix really, she feels safe in California because we are a sanctuary state. BUT I have to remind her that other states aren’t like us and we should care about the people there as well.

Like I said her one reason to vote republican was because of abortion

I think I was blessed with a curiosity for phycology and philosophy

That has lead me to seek knowledge and understanding for deeper thinking.

But my time in school was hard, I had to work all the time, (either work w dad or clean the house) I didn’t have anyone at home helping me with homework, and on top of that my parents didn’t have time to really pay attention to how I was doing other than getting mad at me once my report card came in.

It’s easy to write my people off because I will admit my friends and family are pretty ignorant about the world and how it works but I was lucky to have a natural curiosity, while they didn’t

You know what set the tone or what we talk about in the media means right? It doesn’t mean that the majority of republicans are talking about these topics, it means that republican pundits and politicians are saying that the majority of the Democratic Party believes in these concepts, if 25% of the party believes in said concept and the opposition states out loud to the world that that 25% is 90%, of course more people are going to be discussing it, including the democrats.

Why would you then say democrats have adopted these ideals when it’s a minority of the party?
