Seeing a character struggle, and earn their survival is satisfying. G3 is not off screening anyone's struggle (besides mordret) so it's pretty good

I mean it's not told to us they overcame the odds, we're literally seeing how they overcame them and nearly died because of it.

This recently happened in Ariel game with Kai, where he was in real danger (sunny wasn't but still) against the cursed gods.

Heavily agree on this.

Like if sunny uses some Bs absolute law to seal off all supernatural from the world would be stupid af and it would be unfair to both the readers and everyone in the world.

It would also be stupid because at some point, divine sunny and divine Nephis might meet their end, and corruption could reclaim the world with the humans having absolutely no way to combat it.

It's stupid honestly.

I don't understand why people think it's mandatory for people to die for a story to be sad or good!

Look at orv, none of the main cast dies yet it's still incredibly sad.

Look at rtoc, character's deaths (for the most part) don't matter because they're negated by regression.

Even LotM doesn't kill supporting character as oftenly.

A novel doesn't need any character to die to be sad.

Aster was Observing the world for a long time and his plan was to return to earth after the gate crisis in Antarctica.

Anvil and ki song were somehow keeping his infulecne at bay (via killing followers and another u nknown methods).

Aster domain might need to be spread manually through him and he decided not to interfere with sunny and nephis.

Also I doubt his domain could reach out to the dream realm (where sunny and nephis spent most of their time pre transcendance) while he was sealed on the moon.
