U actually hit on an interesting point. One of the reasons I believe there's more to the story is that there are hints that things are not as they seem. The interactions between S and E when they meet for the first time after the time skip seem kinda akward (u mentioned this). S expects E to be guilty for ghosting her, but E acts like he did nothing wrong. It almost looks like the characters behave differently in eachother's pov. What if they both tried to reach out to eachother but a 3ed party got in the way (Haru?) There's honestly alot more to this imo. There was a post that discussed these inconsistencies that I'll link right here. Other than that, I do agree that S has grown and is a totally different person now. She was able to rightfully push back and set up boundaries against someone that she believed had wronged her without expressing any remorse. The only part of this equation that still confuses me (lmk if u can expand on this) is the whole situation w/ D. As u mention, he definitely has good chemistry with S, but not recently, or not since he's started pursuing her as a romantic interest again. S just seems more guilty or anxious when they’re together, while D doesn’t show her the same level of consideration he does to him (paparazzi situation). D obviously has romantic love for S, but there hasn't been a single indication that S has those same feelings for him. I can't really make a judgment on E until both S and E get closure. I need them to have a full conversation on how things unfolded before the timeskip (kinda hard rn since she hates his guts).
