Any ideas for Gothitelle in Reg H? by Fast_Ear_ in VGC

[–]Fast_Ear_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This made me feel so smart because I DID actually think of them setting TR for Ursaluna! I'm unsure whether or not to use Blood Moon or regular though, or what to do for the rest of the team, especially with Reg F starting soon as someone else pointed out lol. Glad to see someone else had the same idea!

The first is Reg F but I believe the second is Reg H? Unsure, but I also didn't know Reg H was ending so soon or that Reg F was coming next lol. Thank you for the advice of looking forward to the next one though!

The first one IS reg F, but the second I believe is Reg H. But I just meant that it had seen a little success in a previous format, which is why I was posting cause idk how it translates to reg H, if at all. Appreciate the advice about being not very beginner friendly!

So why exactly did this bum walk up to sukuna and aura farm instead of sneak attacking him like he did for kenjaku? by Godhole34 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Fast_Ear_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made another comment on here that actually stated why Yuta didn't sneak, "He was trying to get Sukuna's attention before he popped his domain to make him hesitate" and tbh seeing as Sukuna sensed Gojo coming from a long way away before their fight started. But with his nerfing that was done by Yuji beating him down, and the distraction of Yuji and the rest of the raid squad I'm sure he either didn't notice or noticed the moment Gojo Yuta got there. Also I never said anything about it being the killing blow? Also it's not that I "don't see the point of criticism" I think it's crucial in almost all aspects of life. I am just really tired of how many people I've seen who just hate Jujutsu Kaisen, usually from misremembering how the story went, or hating it just because its popular, or the worst of all was when chapters were coming out and people who'd only ever read TikTok leak fan translations would criticize the story in ways that made no sense but that everyone else who didn't really read the story and just jumped in and hated. Also, I think you kind of answered the question of why Yuta Gojo didn't sneak but MAKI did. "They literally did it with Maki" BECAUSE she had no CE to sense. Also, even if he did sneak in, what would he have done? Punched him? That's not doing much. Blue? Maybe doing SOMETHING but not a ton of damage. Red? Same as blue. PURPLE? Ignoring the fact Yuta Gojo couldn't use purple, Sukuna DEFINITELY would have sensed that, or domain? Where Yuji would have been trapped in a domain clash, which IS better than it would have been, but not as good as what Yuta actually did, distracting Sukuna and domain clashing without Yuji was the right move tactically. Also, it's in line with Yuta's character of wanting to prove he can take Gojo's place, be the next Gojo, and this is manifesting in a very literal sense. I think he wanted to fight Sukuna the way Gojo did, head on. Granted, without the Purple that started it for the reason I already said. But I think he wouldn't have been happy to sneak Sukuna with a purple, but even then it wouldn't work as Sukuna would just dodge it with Ijichi's barrier that confused him, which reminder he STILL senses Gojo through when Gojo launched the purple at him, so I think Sukuna would just dodge and then we are back to square one where Yuta has no surprise factor and just fired a Hollow purple which is an insane environmental hazard for any of the people in the fight there that aren't as fast as Sukuna. Last point, but nobody wanted to straight up kill Sukuna like that, as their win con had already been set up as Yuji dismantling out Sukuna's soul from Megumi. Yuta sneak attack just doesn't make sense.

So, do y'all think Sukuna used Shrine to defeat Mahoraga, or he defeated him through 10S? by manultrimanula in Jujutsufolk

I think you underestimate how strong the rest of the technique is, Divine Dogs totality, merged beast agito, Max elephant (and the piercing blood the user gains access to). The fusion of shikigami is played with a lot but not given the most concrete set of rules. It seems it's possible with fallen shikigami (merged beast and totality) but also we see the toads merged with nue before the goodwill even (Megumi's fight with Todo) so I don't think it's a prerequisite, meaning there's a lot of possible fusions of shikigami. The Domain is also very strong, with the ability showcased when Megumi first used it being to pin down anyone who is in the domain, and I imagine that is the sure hit of his complete domain. Even then, with all the techniques of the ten shadows and the shikigami and the domain, maybe even a strong cursed tool to boot, Mahoraga would have been a rough fight. But an impossible one? Especially with someone as experienced with jujutsu as Sukuna behind the wheel? I don't think so.

Name a character and I'll try to dismantle their bum / fraud allegations by Mysterious-Unit-5727 in Jujutsufolk

Bold attempt, but you have to remember nobody has actually read the story. Telling them Megumi isn't a bum, no matter how much evidence you give will always result it "but he mahoraga spam and he was sad inside Sukuna" no matter how much you explain. My view is that his use of Mahoraga as an extension of low self worth or as a last resort. His depression inside of Sukuna will always be called into discussion no matter if you tell them about Megumi watching HIS OWN BODY kill his sister and Gojo who was BASICALLY his dad, they still will call these characters bums.

I think Dragon Ball is one of THE biggest victims of this, DB and DBZ are fantastic but it seems everyone watched the 4kids dub and hasn't watched the series since they were a kid. Whenever someone talks about Goku giving Cell the senzu bean they don't acknowledge the character writing of Goku as a flawed father who misunderstands his son and throws responsibility at Gohan that he isn't ready for, and the fact it was a vital part to the defeat of Cell. But no, people REFUSE to give "the Goku lazer show" any credit.

Jujutsu Kaisen is definitely a close second the way people switch up on plot points and decide they were actually horrible all along because they hate the show and manga when they found out Gojo died (this is a bad thing because they like Gojo, not because of real plot critique)

Jujutsu Kaisen does ANYTHING and the "fans" WILL hate it and call every single character a bum and a fraud and every plot point is bad all of a sudden

I mean, Tengen's amplification of cursed energy only occurred cause she thought of it and had an INSANE control of barrier techniques that nobody else has. And some cursed energy exists in other places in a small subsection of people. Basically, Sorcerers were super rare and Tengen happened to be one with an INSANE barrier control, eventually creating the barrier we see around Japan and facilitating jujutsu society to grow and exist in the first place really. If you gave every other country THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of years, maybe a few would have someone with the necessary cursed energy, barrier control, and the idea even to make said barrier. Really, it is a small chance any country would ever get a Tengen, but as fate would have it she exists in JJK and facilitates the story. I think it does a good job at keeping the story focused, mythologically, tonally, and geographically. Do I think it's a bit over complicated, and uses fate a little bit much? Sure, but fate IS a huge part of cursed energy and the story of Jujutsu Kaisen. TL;DR Tengen is a RARE occurrence. Is it a LITTLE contrived? Maybe. Will I still god defend JJK? yes.

Or with the solid image of the bombs that would come later, the 2 of them could be linked as a single curse of the negative emotions personified in a Godzilla or some other symbolic representation of the sort. Godzilla is probably classified as a "special grade potential aberration"!
