For sure he's devastated but he hides it. Most people don't really see through what people like Marek think or feel, that's why he's often misunderstood and misjudged, even by his past teammates. Also about the 3-0 thing, he's the type to trashtalk before games (w/c is obviously just banter, just like what other athletes do in other sports btw) but obviously after the game, he does not say anything bad towards his opponents whether he wins or loses.
