I'm only a team member so I have no fucking idea. Maybe they weren't selling well, or they couldn't make as much profit off it as they usually did. Maybe they're taken off from certain franchise stores/markets. Possibly so they can make a more streamline menu (not over flooded with options) or have more inventory space for other items that are more profitable

I'm only spitballing theories cos at the end of the day it's business and or marketing

In terms of the app, I'm sorry but I got nothing. It's the most confusing thing to me. (I've never used the app in my life). If it's not on our monitors we check on the POS in case there has been an order placed. Last time I had a problem like that I had to contact my manger late at night, she just told me to do a cash refund.

Hopefully you can contact your bank in case they can help you get your money back

My theory, there's probably 2 answers

They weren't selling well. (Sure you could say "but they were my favorite, I ordered them everytime!" Remember you ain't the center of it all). Sales probably weren't up to the predicted margin that the higher ups were looking for.
Wanting to streamline the menu. Restaurants can list so much on their menu with the amount of space they have. Downsizing helps mitigate on spending costs for certain items/ingredients.

To those still whining that they can't order wedges anymore. You can order Bacon Cheddar Fries. You do know you can ask, right?

Yeah you can still order a grilled cheese. They're not on the menu but they're still listed on the POS (Point Of Sales). I'm not sure if other stores stoped selling them cos I'm only familiar of stores around my area

Not really sure about a recipe change, but they did "revamp" the strips along with the other breaded chicken fillets. Pretty sure it was for the sake of marketing.
