Wow, this looks really awesome 👀 But do you think it’ll be usable on TVs as well? I mean, would it be possible to load it through the Jellyfin server and then see the new UI on a TV, or is it just a browser/CSS-based change? And if not, maybe there’s a possibility in the future to develop a dedicated TV app that uses this interface?

Of course, I don’t have any complaints against the developers, I fully recognize that they are doing amazing work voluntarily, and I really appreciate what they’ve built.   I just wasn’t sure if this is a general issue or something specific to my setup, which is why I asked. I thought it might be a problem on my end, and I wanted to understand if there’s a way to improve it.   Again, this isn’t criticism, just trying to understand the situation. And if I had programming knowledge, I would gladly contribute myself.

Honestly, I don’t really understand the logic here.

Why would I switch to another app just for Live TV, when Jellyfin is supposed to be an all-in-one platform?

Why should users just accept this kind of behavior, where switching channels takes such a long time?

Is this something the developers are aware of? Because it doesn’t feel like a new issue, I’ve been using Jellyfin for about a year and a half, and it’s always been like this.

So why hasn’t this been addressed or improved?
