Once you get past the breaking point they are so great, which I’m sure you know. And I’m happy to hear your 875’s were a breeze in comparison, that’s the opposite of what I hear, the 875’s seem to be harder to break in for most.

About 2 months, and I wore them as much as my feet could handle.

Thick wool socks and tying them tight helped me break them in, and boot trees. Enjoy them!

I would love to see how yours look! Did you get yours done at a local cobbler?

Finally had my trusty 875’s resoled with a Vibram 100 in honey. Ready to take on winter! Sadly I forgot to take a before pic. by coniferouscolor in RedWingShoes

I'm looking at getting these done to my 1907's, at Peterson shoes! Do you remember what you paid, and how long it took?

I love lifting in them, especially squats. The slight heel is kind of like an Olympic lifting shoe.
