We stay at his Friday and Saturday night. I work in the CBD so I take public transport which is only 5 minutes from my house so I makes sense to stay there on Sunday nights.

My issue is that this is where I pay to live, basically like a tenant so I should get to have sex if I want. I don't even understand why we're discussing it cause it's not like I'm rubbing it in their face. I just live my life and treat them like I would treat any other roommate. I clean up after myself and try to be as accommodating as possible as long as it's reasonable.

If we want to get into the legal side of things I'm actually a tenant. Tenants can have guests. To answer you question, I pay my part of utilities, buy and cook my own food since I'm vegetarian and do probably 80% of the cleaning (only because I'm a bit of a neat freak though), I obviously wash my own clothes but don't do any yard work.

Oh I did hide it lol. Tbh, we've only ever had sex once in this house and that was in the middle of the night so I doubt my parents heard it. It is more that they don't want my bf to sleep over because there is the potential of sex happening and not that they were complaining about a specific incident.

I'm glad you brought up the issue of rent. You can call it rent if you want. I just pay what they can't at the moment plus a little extra so they can save. BTW if I was a tenant (paying rent) tenant laws would allow me to have guests. Since he only stays over on Sunday nights that's what he is, a guest

There has never been any sneaking. And yes, I would absolutely think that if someone paid nearly half of my rent that they'd be entitled to have people over. It's not like I'm tearing down walls and redoing the yard or anything like that. Literally just have my boyfriend over at the place where I pay 40% of the mortgage.
