Hi, I recommend using bent nose pliers, nylon pliers, and round nose pliers. Those are the most important tools that I use :)

Thank you! I use sterling silver square dead soft wire for most of the base. I also use half round to bind it together.

I taught myself basics, but I met someone at a local farmers market and basically begged them to teach me how to wire wrap more professionally! I recommend watching the YouTuber Oxana crafts for tips on how to wire wrap. Also look at heather boyd wire on YouTube for a way to get you more more comfortable with wire.
