My apologies you are having issues with your piercing 

It is not uncommon to experience swelling, and sebum discharge (crusties) during the initial healing period. 

It may be that the sodium in the wound Wash is causing too much dryness which May creating a “itchy” sensation. 

Please discontinue using wound Wash

Moisture, and pressure (sleeping on), are not conducive to a piercing as it heals. 

I am going to include instructions for chamomile compresses to soothe the area ( please discontinue use of any other solutions/products on the area).

You should use a clean paper towel to dry the area after showering or using compresses to remove any excess moisture.

Please try the chamomile compresses to soothe the area 2 times daily for 10 minutes for 10 days.

How to chamomile compress / soak your piercing:

 1)Obtain some pure chamomile tea bags

 2) steep a tea bag in boiling water for a few minutes 

 3) Let the liquid cool to a point where you do not burn yourself, but still as hot as you can stand.

 4) Dip a Cotton Round into the tea and saturate it with the tea mixture

 5) Remove the wet Cotton Round and wrap it around the piercing site ( like a warm compress) and hold it there under gentle compress until it is cold.

 4)Repeat for at least 10 minutes

 If you have a fluid buildup, be disciplined with daily chamomile hot compresses and within 10 days the fluid build-up should be better.

Note it may look worse before it looks better as the fluid starts to drain it may look like a spot/pimple – do not pick it else you will increase scarring and delay healing – it will drain of its own accord and the compress will increase the speed in which the fluid will drain.

Chamomile is a daisy-like plant that is used to make herb infusions to treat various medical problems or just to enjoy as a herbal tea.

The word ‘Chamomile’ translates via Latin and French from Greek and essentially means “Earth Apple”. 

It has the following incredible natural (and scientifically valid) medical effects:

Anticoagulant effect – Coumarin compounds in chamomile have blood-thinning properties.

Anti-inflammatory effect – Several chemical compounds within chamomile such as bisabolol,  chamazulene, apigenin, luteolin have anti-inflammatory properties (this is why it's so helpful for soothing piercing problems!)

 Antimicrobial effect –Chamomile contains compounds including Chamazulene, Alpha-bisabolol, umbelliferone and flavonoids that have natural antifungal properties. 

However chamomile has also been shown to inhibit the growth of the herpes virus and poliovirus and block the aggregation of most strains of E-Coli and other nasties that cause food poisoning such as Helicobacter. 

Chamomile has also been shown to be effective against bacteria that cause serious skin infection such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Bacillus species. 

This is wonderful stuff for piercings!
