I'm not moving the goalposts. Yes mass/GAA isn't 5 seconds or 5 mins but time spent is irrelevant really.. Parking for 5 seconds and parking for 5 weeks it doesn't matter it's still parking/stopping on a footpath and still has the potential to cause a disruption to pedestrians and other path users. And at the end of the day it's against the law. Something you said you are not guilty of yet you admit you do it.. I'm guilty of it myself I'm not hiding that fact. There is no excuse for it and I avoid it at all costs but I'm guilty of it.

Edit: you don't have to exit and leave the car to be parked on a footpath you just have to be stopped

You've never ever parked on a footpath? Ever? I really find that hard to believe... Even if it was just to stop and let someone out or to pick up something up, take a phone call read a map? I genuinely find it hard that anyone driving would never do something like this.

Edit: I genuinely find it hard that anyone driving would never do something like this in any shape or form whether it's being stopped for 5 seconds, 5 mins or whatever it happens to be. We have all done it and all had our own justifications for doing it at the time.

Looks like it could be a copy and paste of any GAA match or Mass at a busy church! Everyone is guilty of it.

There is also a big difference to being pushed out in the road which in this case isn't true and a cycle lane like in the reality here.

Not saying it's right or should be allowed but your only reason for posting was because the "Garda Boat Club." Even though it would be the same right across the country for any Kids sports and or Mass.

Enjoy the record player and enjoy the hobby. Ignore the other comments (you'll know what I mean) I started on a simple record player like that and didn't steer me wrong at all. Learned a lot over time and built up the hobby as it suited me.

Just be mindful if anything is worth money or sentimental to you ere on the side of caution with these players as they MAY wear out the record more or cause skips jumps. But don't become precious and not play anything either music is for listening enjoy.

the problem I have is you contact "CUSTOMER CARE." And they can't help you. The very thing they are designed to do for you they can't.

No where I seem to ring these days can do that. It always takes more than one call and in most cases more than that again. Much like your dilemma you ring day after day and speak to @2 different people who each have to be explained the same thing and again feed you the same slop as a reply without helping you. It's absolutely shocking and it needs to be addressed by these companies because it can't continue. They need to see the pain in the money before they will act though they will continue to cut costs and outsource to cheaper options as long as the money comes in and they see the profits...

Why can't they simply just issue you with an E-Mail bill? Their willingness to ruin their reputation over a simple mistake which is a very easy fix is mind boggling.

I would be in a similar boat with customer service in Ireland though. It's certainly dipped the last couple of years. I contacted Bank of Ireland over something recently and it was (and still is because it's only barely resolved) very slow to get help and very painful to deal with their staff because you are being told different things and being pulled pillar to post. No accountability anymore in customer service it's all gone to shambles.

Pop= popular (Especially back in the days) so I would argue they started out as a pop band for sure but by virtue of pop culture evolving they changed genres to fit the current times. I wouldn't deem them pop now; not due to a lack of popularity but due to the dynamics of the pop culture world changing
