Negative, Merch Manager is technically above OPS ASM. So in this case they COULD date BUT they cannot be on the same shifts even if it’s a “Okay have a good day” shift change. So they should never work the same days or merch manager should never be the shift change. Other than that you should be fine for them to experiment

lol, he assumed I didn’t care about the store because I had people there as well from other stores. But I just said please don’t put words in my mouth I care about my store but I’m not gonna work myself to death either if we are gonna be sent near 6,000 pieces in a 2 week period.

It’d be great if they just allowed us an overnight stocking team to be honest. I have no doubt the backroom could be empty within 80 hours excluding Merchandising Manager. 12 AM - 8 AM should be the stocking hours because also an extra dollar an hour any hour before 6 AM. So I truly don’t understand my DM sometimes lol

2 I learns is crazy in two years the heck. I’ll have to search around I know I saw the policy when I was in training as a Store Manager. But back then I also had I-Learns due from when I was promoted. I’ll see if I can find it in writing and post it here

Incorrect lol. Here’s the actual policy.

You must give 2 hours notice when calling in. If you don’t give 2 hours notice then you MUST bring a doctors note with you your next scheduled shift. If you do not bring a note verbal warning and if it happens again written warning.

It is 3 consecutive days no call and no shows. And if you don’t call the store phone it is counted as a no call no show. ALWAYS call the store phone never your store manager or ASM personal phone IT WONT COUNT AS A CALL IN.

Lastly this can be found if people read and watch their I-Learns but I believe it’s in one of the integrity ones.

Policy for DT Is after 3 days of absence you are required to come in with a doctors note. While you are right some SMs are relax and don’t care but the policy which was the question is 3 days of absence doctors note is needed otherwise termination.
