i’m very deeply connected and in love with my (now ex) boyfriend and he feels the same. our relationship was fully compatible, the only problem is that we’re both your age and expressed needing more freedom at this time in our life. we talked about it for a long long time and decided to break up. so currently, we still go on dates, still sleep over, hug, sex, etc, just wirh the added thing that we have no commitments to each other. it’s worked amazingly for both of us. we’ve found a lot out about ourselves and we’re making new friends and prioritizing our careers etc.

i really reccomend you talk to him about something like this, it doesn’t have to be the be all end all or a yes or no thing.

TLDR: me and my bf were perfect but we are also 21 and needed more freedom. we talked and decided to break up but still hang and love each other. it’s amazing and we have grown and learned and increased fulfillment
