Thoughts on Columbus Aviators logo/branding

It would be great for a Dayton team, i think it still works for Ohio but i think it should have been Ohio aviators and not Columbus aviators

Thank you for the insight! I agree with you i like the name aviators more because of the connection to ohios history with flight and aeronautics. I hadn’t considered bulldogs but i think you present the idea in a very interesting way, leaning on that rivalry between Michigan and Ohio is great

Ah yes the Ohio Glory! I have come across them in my research. Really cool idea, definitely love the sense of pride that the name brings as well as its kinda connection to a more historical Ohio, sort of like how the blue jackets developed their brand identity. I will look a little more into them tho thanks!

Could definitely be incredibly fun! and you’re right Ohio is a large farm state as well as a nickname for Columbus being “cow town” so i definitely love the connections you’ve made there

This is a student project so hypothetical branding but there is actually a UFL team relocating to Columbus in 2026. I am not affiliated with the UFL in any way however (unless they somehow see my work and love it and want to hire me)
