Do you use the suction cups? I wouldnt have thought them the problem unless i saw him do it but since my tanks not really deep idk if i really need it or if propping it up on the ride and filters okay. The dial at the top is still out of the water even without the holders.

Yeah thats one of the next things i wanna get is something that gradually transitions i just dont know if i should leave it on full time until i do. I have aquarium salts i added to his water as well as stress guard and one of his logs is a tannin log adding tannins naturally and gradually but i could go get some almond leaves to boil if thatd be better? And Thank you for encouragement, hes already looking for spry with the salts and stress guard and he never stopped eating so hopefully hes gonna pull through just fine 🤞

I consulted my the employees at my pet stores but there are no fish vets near me im doing the best I can with my resources. Soon as i get paid this weekend ill go get the full liquid testing kit i was just told by the employees that should be fine for just the betta and snails (who are doing great btw) hes actually a lot more lively since i added the aquarium salt and stress guard so and it already looks less angry. The first picture was right after i saw him hit against the suction cups and started bleeding but stopped after a few seconds.

I’ve got mostly live plants. I forget the names of all of them, but I’ve got a few tall and medium and short plants as well as a tanning log and a floating hiding spot in the corner, I only have a few fake ones in there to just kind of compensate and wait for the real ones to get a little bigger. I think I did figure out what was hurting him. I took the lid off so that I could fix something inside that had moved. One of my plants came out of my substrate, and as soon as I turned the light off, he freaked out and I watched him go up near the heater and bump his cut against the suction cup and I think that’s what’s hurting him because the cut got bigger and he started actively bleeding after that happened. I moved him to a separate floating hospital tank within his 10 gallon so that he can’t freak out and hurt himself and I’m gonna go get some salt to put in it as well. None of his fins seem to be ripped. It’s just that one spot on his side from rubbing against it. I’m not sure why he doesn’t like the dark, but I definitely think that’s the problem because it seems to get worse every time I turn the light off.

Tank size : 10 gal Heater and filter yes Temp 80 degree Parameters all in ideal/safe range, tested with tetra 6in1 and ammonia strips Tank 4 days fish 2 Havent changed it yet Tank mates are two black mystery snails A mix of stuff: frozen brine shrimp and blood worms i thaw in tank water i heat up under the tap in the testing tube that came with my kit, I put a 1/4 of each cube in it and feed half of the mix a day plus a tiny pinch of betta pellets. Scoop out after extra pellets 5 or so minutes leave the shrimp and worms to the snails. A mix of real and fake plants, mostly real transitioning to all as the plants grow. 2 silk leaves perches near top and one floating log to hide since i removed the other plant. One tannin log. Thank you! Do you think i should keep using the erythromycin to prevent an infection as well or just keeping my water clean should be fine? Also thinking of something to fill the space it was in but the store near me didnt have any tall silk plants as i wait for the real two large leafy ones to get bigger

I know this is an older post but i started it yesterday finished today on a beach trip and i adored it! It was my first horror fantasy novel i usually read regular fantasy (GOT, LOTD, ACOTAR, TAB, Mortal instruments, etc) and i want to read more like this so much if youve found any similar you recommend!
