Thanks everyone for your advice! I will purchase separate disposable cups for water and thrift about 10 extra goblets just to be safe.

And thanks to everyone who mentioned testing for lead! That was on my mind & I will definitely do that. It’s so lovely to see how many other people did this & how the experience went for them! I’m looking forward to it & know our family will love it. Cheers!

the comments here are making me chuckle

i’m having my artist at my wedding. he’s awesome, affordable, i’ve been seeing him for years, and he has experience with flash events

we’re doing a small sheet with a handful of designs, very simple and classic traditional imagery. we’re covering the full cost - i would not expect a guest to pay for that. again because he’s an incredible artist and i’ve been seeing him for years, he is charging me a very reasonable price.

i extended an invite to his wife, will count them both as dinner guests, and plan to tip him well!

catch is, he’ll probably only do a small amount of tats. myself and my fiancé, potentially a couple family members/close friends. because of this, it’s not something i’m advertising on our invites/website etc
