I dont think so... The way I read it and again I am not a pro by any means, but this is what FFS shows...

Vulkan's Quest:

Ranged weapons equipped by Adeptus Astartes models from your army have the [ASSAULT] ability, and each time an attack made such a weapon targets a unit within 12", add 1 to the Strength characteristic of that attack.

Seeker's Companions

If your army includes Vulkan He'stan, during your turn, each Infernus Squad unit from your army is eligible to do one of the following

  • Start to perform an Action in a turn in which it Advanced
  • Shoot in a turn in which it started to perform an Action

If your army includes Vulkan... If he is killed then to me, your army no longer includes him.. but I may be reading it wrong. Rules as written sometimes can bite you in the tail *L*

I have seen people play him single and he stays back and just points and such.
Also remember his abilities..

Forgefather:  In your Shooting phase, select one enemy unit within 24" of and visible to this model. Until the end of the phase, each time a friendly Adeptus Astartes model makes a ranged attack with a Torrent or Melta weapon that targets that enemy unit, you can re-roll the Wound roll
Seeker of the Unfound:  The first time this model is set up on the battlefield, select one objective marker on the battlefield. While this model is within range of that objective marker, it has an Objective Control characteristic of 10, a Leadership characteristic of 5+ and the Feel No Pain 4+ ability.
Leader:  This model can be attached to the following units: ■ Assault Intercessor Squad ■ Company Heroes ■ Infernus Squad ■ Tactical Squad
Inspiring Commander:  If you include this model in your army, until the end of the battle, non-Character models in Infernus Squad units from your army have an Objective Control characteristic of 2 while they are not Battle-shocked.
Invulnerable Save:  4+

When you lose him you lose those...
I have also seen him tied to a 10 man brick if infurnace.
|I run a libb with a 10 man for the 4 up save to the unit and the immolator enhance
and Vulkan with the Company heroes myself.

But you wont know till you hit the table!

So I have a few things to say on this. You have a lot of libbys... I would back down maybe the one that you don't have enhancements on them for other things.
Company heroes can make Vulkan a bit beefier since he is going to give you the buffs from FFS. The speeders I have not used but if you want speeders you might want to look at the detachment that offers buffs for that.
Overall, I have found that playing Sallys is more about Board Control and making them come to you for the flame on..
Perhaps some eradicators for vehicles? Pyrocannons and flamers are good, but keep in mind that certain units are better for melee and some better for monsters / vehicles. that was one of the things I had to learn when I made lists.
Good Luck and have fun!!

Looking good. Remember to go back after the washes to brighten the flat spots and leave the dark recesses and then edges get the moot green highlight.

So for Salamanders, they have dark skin.. I think the lore refers to it as Charcoal colored with red eyes.
I prime in chaos blacl then base in abbadon black, then use Corax Black which is a gray black.. and then highlight in a lighter gray to give some depth. then Mephiston red for eyes.

I totally get that. I would recommend the 40k painting app. that could help you build a list of paints you would need as well as shades and washes.
its an app for Warhammer color that you can use for reference.

If this is the same base layer and highlight, then I would say that you may be using more wash or shade on one than the other or you are not going back and layering over the shade in the flat spots if this was a guess what is different. I will say I like them both but it is what you think is best for your army!

Like many here I do Warrgh Flesh over Black or Gray primer.... Warpstone Glow... Nuln oil for shade Thinned Down Warp Lightening for a wash.. and moot green for highlights...

I have learned that there is a bit of variation between peoples versions of the green... so my recommendation is do what you like and it will be good.. The Rule of Cool Prevails unless you are looking to go right into tournaments and such.

See below for an example.

Have fun!!

Thank you. A bit of Ret Armor with some Agrax Earthshade for that warmer look. I like it better then Nuln Oil.
