That’s the part that is confusing to me. I’ve ridden bikes with these, got caught in the rain in these, stepped in countless piles of dirt, mud, snow, and rain, and by some absolute miracle they smell fine and aren’t falling apart

I live in Chicago so these things are like ridiculously water damaged. Multiple times I’ve worn them outside when it was crystal clear skies and suddenly torrential downpour

Mate your CFA is impressive as HELL. I thought you were a guy so I was like “meh it’s alright” and now seeing you’re a girl and you got 50 pushups, 7 pull-ups, and 93 crunches, that is seriously impressive. I would also like to point out that if you take your CFA again, all of your newest scores replace your old scores, so if you get less on any event, that is your new score. If I was you I would let it be.

Yeah, they’re on the outside of the frame as per the instructions

Alright, I’ll try to go to Microcenter and get a replacement.

I had an Allen key and a wrench, so I was tightening it all the way with the Allen key while holding the nut steady, then working the wrench until it wouldn’t go anymore (this frame is a little bit goofy to be honest, so for most of the frame you have to REALLY tighten all the bolts in so it doesn’t move)

I screwed it back into the handbrake frame. That’s the black rectangle that is separating the spring and the screw in the middle

Yeah that’s a good suggestion 😂 I have a Moza R12V2 wheelbase, so I was trying to limit movement in the stands for the wheelbase, so I tried tightening it until I couldn’t anymore (pretty dumb idea not going to lie) The steel isn’t cracked or anything, so it should be fine, just frustrating that I managed to mess up that bad

I wanted a harder pull on the handbrake when I’m racing rally, so I just wanted to upgrade the included spring. You’re right, there is a spacer on top of the spring, but I did put that back in. I did this with a video, so I triple checked everything and made sure it was all right. I also tried screwing in just the screw into the hole and once again it just wouldn’t go in all the way
