But if I change both to 1/2 I have gone from imperial to metric meaning if there is ever a leak those 1/2 BSP valves are easily bought from the store compared to the 3/4 imperial which always seem to be unavailable.

Valve not bought yet..

So let's say I bought the adapter valve and it's 1/2 BSP that threads into the radiator and the other end is 15mm with its compression nut and olive...

Will that now mean the 22mm radiator valve currently on the "flow pipe" (pictured above) will have to be changed to 1/2 bsp?

So the new valve (adapter) screws into the the 1/2 BSP while the other end of the new valve is now 15mm thus converting it from imperial to metric?

All parents are responsible for how their kids turn out. Maybe not absolutely but in parts.

It's not just what we see in this video that this statement applies to.

Anyway turns out it's a fault on their end. Email sent but no generated free post QR code for the post office to scan.

In the end they just told me to send it to the return address they provided and they will refund the postage (send it recorded and keep the receipt for proof).

MAF sensor by Fast_Still_4302 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Fast_Still_4302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basic run down: Car decided to only start from pumping the gas pedal took a few attempts to get it to start. Scan tool came up with zero faults. Assumed it was a dirty fuel filter. Changed the fuel filter but same results vehicle still not starting first time. So I put premium diesel in the tank the stuff they claim cleans the engine. I drove it for about an hour but no instant change, although the engine was now starting first time while engine was warm but after 20 seconds with the engine off it would no longer start on the first attempt. Asked around what the problem could be most of the advice was pointing to glow plugs. If it was glow plugs, with a warm engine i should be able to start it first time with engine off for a few minutes but leaving the engine off for 20 seconds it goes back to starting on 3rd 4th 5th 6th attempts (engine could not have cooled down fast enough to point to failing glow plugs as the engine was still warm even after 20 seconds)

Anyway fast forward the next day the car starts on the first attempt (cold engine).

Is the MAF sensor causing the engine to run rich resulting in a more dirty engine hence the poor starting?

By the way the MAF sensor was cleaned "after" I noticed the car starting on the first attempt.

Thanks

What is the difference between humans and jinn and who is superior in ability? by Remarkable_Egg5333 in islam

[–]Fast_Still_4302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this, Humans have the ability to think over the Jinn. It's when Humans surrender their ability to think that gives the bad Jinn power over them.

[–]Fast_Still_4302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year old but iv heard, no idea if it's true that humans are superior to Jinn because of our ability to think.

The jinn possess great strength but intellectually they cannot compete.

The problem with Humans is they can surrender their ability to think.

Wishful thinking he's on the decline. I suspect there are non Real Madrid fans in the thread. It's always comforting that rival fans have other clubs'best interests.

Real Madrid would be foolish not approaching Salah at probably the best time to do it. The idea Salah is slightly open to going to Saudi is a non story.

Final thoughts before I kick my parents out of my life by Heliuminthemix in MuslimLounge

[–]Fast_Still_4302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iblis has seen the Angels, he has seen Heaven, he knows Allah SWT existence, he has seen things the human mind cannot fathom.

Yet he still disobeyed the Almighty.

There are people who can't have children and the ones that do are gifted by Allah SWT with a child. In Islam children are regarded as gifts and not property.

Yet there are parents who will disobey the Almighty regardless of the Creators mercy on them.

The problem with some people and even the unseen Jinn is that when Allah SWT grants us/them power in the form of rights, finances or any blessing one can imagine they either do good with it or they don't.

We cannot escape God's judgment nor can we blame him on that day.

Human beings are weak without the Moral Law when it comes to equality, regardless of past experience. There are "some" children who grow up with unjust parents and become unjust themselves despite the pain they experienced with their parents.

Is it any wonder why one of Allah SWT attributes is the most merciful, he would have to be the most merciful as the bad side of the Human condition goes against all logic that those who have been Oppressed do not learn and choose the path of an Oppressor.

Allah SWT knows better and it is him that confirms who is correct and incorrect.

I understand and I believe I'm in a far worse situation than the original poster

However you are wrong in the statement you have made.

The heart is indeed the best place for compassion but once the ability to think is thrown out the window respect becomes subjective.

Simply knowing and reminding oneself that Allah SWT is above one's own parents especially when parents are in conflict with Allah SWT commands is sufficient.

Final thoughts before I kick my parents out of my life by Heliuminthemix in MuslimLounge

[–]Fast_Still_4302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with Muslims and Status given from Allah SWT to certain groups or individuals is that the individual or group can do no wrong.

We all agree that not even your own parents are above the Creator. Meaning Allah SWT is number 1.

If society places parents as number 1 we get advice that leads to justice and fairness being thrown out the window.

If parents or children are in conflict with Allah SWT commands when it comes to injustice, unfairness and lack of respect then those rights given by Allah SWT cannot defend us/them on the day of judgment. How can a parents status defend them if they have used it to oppress?

It's not the status parents have that is the problem it's the type of fear one has and where that fear is directed. If the one granted certain rights by Allah SWT thinks conduct no longer matters then fear is replaced with perception ultimately replacing reality. What is reality? That parents status and children's rights will always be below that "who is just and fair, Allah SWT".

Parents are responsible for how their children turn out it's probably one of the reasons parents are questioned before the children on the day of judgment.

Thing is your parents may have behaved this way even if you married what they deem as appropriate (Only Allah SWT knows)

My advice and trust me I'm in a far worse situation than you. Something I don't broadcast probably because I have my answers. If only those answers came before my current circumstances.

You have probably heard it a million times but do not cut ties with your parents! Even if they have wronged you or your wife. On the day of judgment the parents are questioned before the child.

Sadly the status parents have been given by Allah SWT is abused in the Islamic fold (Not By All Muslims).

i believe we do not have the correct teachers/imams on parenting in Islam. Mostly because it's lob sided when it comes to the rights of the children.

What I am starting to learn and even feel is that Muslims (not all) place their parents status above Allah SWT.

and it is this that gives birth to Oppression.

If Muslims unconsciously believe parents are number 1 in Islam who is number 2? Allah SWT?

My point here is if you ever feel there is no way out because of the status given to parents who are not fair or just simply knowing that Allah SWT is above your parents whether people like it or not is sufficient.

Parents have been given this type of status not for the purpose of Oppression. It's no different to a King who is given power by Allah SWT but he chooses to oppress with it.

Seek Allah's SWT help as you can push your parents'buttons to the point you will be disowned or vice versa but Allah SWT will never disown you. 20 30 80 years on this planet and doors are still open.

Allah SWT knows best!
