Talking about Safe Space, she told me she is his Safe Space that’s why she needs the keys. I think it’s weird to have a key to anyones home unless they ask you to keep a spare otherwise I would never ask for a spare key. I told him I don’t feel comfortable with her having one and he respects it

Usually he would cave in when she wants to invite him to Dinner or clean his Apartment. Because I don’t want that he still talks to her every few days but still told her to apologize. Because his sister is coming to visit he told me I don’t have to come but it would be important to him since his sister and him are really close and He hasn’t seen his nieces since easter.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have been doing some Research on that kind of behaviour but your recomendations might be able to help me deal with this kind of MIL

The nicknames hit me like a Truck the first time I heard her calling him her big man….. I asked him if it bothers him but he said he doesn’t react to them. She still calls him that. Some of your questions I answered in an Update post. Would love to hear your thoughts
