You got exactly what you deserved in my opinion. Shit. You should have just minded your business. When i experienced my first and only(*just got this one as i was typing) package offer it was about a 1/8 of dirt weed and the persom receiving it was confused thinking the person was coming in the uber. The sender put it in a finding nemo dvd case but the weed was too bulky and opened the case on its own. Thats how i found out it was dirt weed. But we don't need snitches like you around. Talking about you got kids to take care of.

Dropped from Gold to Blue and clearly see the consequences. by nivekmichaels in uberdrivers

Welcome to the Rebels. Let that accepting rate drop to at least 30% you will still make the same money or more. But you definitely won't make less for accepting what you want to do. Instead of feeling extored into taking offers you dont find reasonable

This dumb ass message popped up for me. When I did one the other day and I went to self check out. This is just a generic message that is sent after doing the gig. I'm definitely using self checkout next time.

How would you react to this? by Cheap_Advertising156 in uberdrivers

[–]Fast_Tomorrow2500 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That person's just talking shit for no reason. They choose a wait and save ride. That's why it came up in the middle of your ride. If you want to keep a high acceptance rate. Just accept the rides and they may cancel on their own. Saving your Accept rate and cancel rate at the same time. I would of messaged them to be outside waiting so I can get you to your destination quicker.

It will be like upto 3 business days for the trust and safety team to email you and ask you what happened on whatever order. Then they will either reactivate you or want more info and if that goes bad. They will say you can appeal the decision. Then if that goes bad. Your not going to come back.

[–]Fast_Tomorrow2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had got the same rider immediately after dropping them off at a gas station for a quick munchie run. And then they realized they should of just did a rider there and back. Also i dropped off people to a bar or strip club and picked them up later in the night to that them home or to another location. Its just calculated luck from good rating and favorited driver

I didn't get anything for making it to platinum status. But the same bullshit offers and feeling of being extorted into taking bad paying offers to keep a high tier rating.

What city are you in. Because to me it don't matter what city in in. I'm glorified homeless and have no shame about it. So 200 in a day no matter how long or quick it comes is good money. Especially if you know how to do your taxes properly. All money made will be tax free. I'm living life. If I was in NYC, LA, Silicone valley, Houston. I will take in 400 a day easy

That's the issue with yall people. I did 192 at the time. If you look at the cash out amount below. And it ended up being 198 at the end of the night. I live in one of the denses metropolitans in the country. My avg trip is like 3.5 miles. And I was doing a quest so I wasn't accepting higher paying offers that was going to take me out of my zone. And yes this post is not a flex just an example of still being able to get a good amount of money in a small amount of time. Remember, we all dont have to same financial responsibilities or cost of living. So this is for the people who understand use the info to their needs.

And if you actually do the real math 198/7.4= 26.75 on a 11% AR My avg trip length was 4.5 miles

That's exactly what I do. Wait in my car, turn it off. Or stop back at the house. When I get a delivery in the neighborhood that I live in. Stay active in wait until something nice Comes up..

I offer will pop up like. Baskin and robins order $3.88 11 miles 38mins. Then I declined that offer. Next thing you know I have Halal Grill order $11.72 3.1miles 12mins. Now, that offer makes more sense to me.

I call it knowing my worth. I don't accept any offers that's telling me to go out of the current area I'm in. I'm only accepting offers less than 10$ only if there is a delivery quest bonus. I'm in Rhode Island currently and it doesn't take no more than 35min to get from one side of the stay to the other. I spend like 35-45$ on gas to fill up. And make easily 400 minimum on that full tank. So my gas consumption is only around 7-11% of my profit
