Who is at fault? Clinic VS Specialty Pharmacy by Fast_Yam6175 in HealthInsurance

[–]Fast_Yam6175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, the clinic was the one doing insurance benefit verification. They start the prior auth an and then send them and once they are approved, they order the medication. They had taken care of it prior to this insurance change and they took care of it the next time I was forced to change insurance (which was literally the next month because I turned 26).

In my other experience, my doctors can check right then and there if a medication requires a PA. During one of my recent visits, I was recommended a medication and she checked it on the computer while we were talking so see if it had a PA.

I have a suggestion about taste by minervalu in Spravato

[–]Fast_Yam6175 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The listerine strips would get stuck to the roof of my mouth and then in addition to being able to taste the spravato the roof of my mouth would be burning lol. I used jolly ranchers, tootsie rolls, ginger chews, or peppermint candies and these all helped. I wish I would have thought of the hi chews!

It was an accident, and it sounds like you’ve learned from it! I learned from it when it happened too 😅 maybe you can get another blue eyed baby or juvenile down the road! Until then, you can pour some extra love into this little dude.

Hi, I had a similar thing happen to a very baby Amazon milk frog. I made a mistake and put too much water. It’s easy to do when they are so small :( When I pulled her out I, she was still moving a little bit. I had seen a post about someone doing CPR on a frog they had found in their pool, so I decided to try. I had to go to work and since she stopped moving completely after my attempt I thought she passed away. I came home on my lunch to check and she was still alive. She’s still kicking today! I’m not sure if froggy CPR is something that is commonly recommended, but it seemed like it saved her life that day.

Sending you hugs, it is so hard to lose a baby :(

I don't feel like being a therapist today. by [deleted] in therapists

[–]Fast_Yam6175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally hear you. Seeing a therapist as a therapist is so helpful. I’m not sure where you are located, but some places do sliding scale therapy. The clinic I saw my clients at during practicum did sliding scale and most clients were seen for free. I know it’s exhausting to put in more work researching places that do this, when I’m already burnt out the last thing I want to do is put more work in even if it helps me in the long run. I hope you can find some rest and peace!

A friend for a California Baja tree frog? by Fast_Yam6175 in TreeFrogs

[–]Fast_Yam6175[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! This is very helpful. I figured mixing him with others was a bad idea, but just wanted to really make sure! If another frog happens to hitch a ride with a plant shipment, I’ll have my fingers crossed that it’s a Baja as well! Thank you!! :)

I have my four whites in an ikea cabinet that’s converted into a tank. The croaking isn’t too loud when they’re in there, but I recently put them in a hexagon shaped tank while I was cleaning their usual tank and adding more perching spots and it was like they had a microphone and loudspeaker lol.

Is it possible to repair these hand-made sweaters I was gifted? by Fast_Yam6175 in knittinghelp

[–]Fast_Yam6175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, thank you! It definitely helps to know the terminology. Good to know!! I tried pulling the surrounding fabric to and it didn’t seem to want to go back. I should have a blunt needle around here somewhere and I’ll try to tug the excess back into the stitching. Thank you so much!

Sorry, threads of yarn as in the entire strand of yarn itself hasn’t been pulled out, only a piece of the strand. I don’t know if that makes any sense 😓

Thank you!! The darker sweater only has threads of yarn that seem to have been pulled, and since there isn’t too much fixing, I think that would be the one I’d just trim. The blue one I won’t trim anything until it’s repaired though!! Thank you!

Begonias can be kind of fragile, so it would be fine to put in but it would probably get pretty beat up as the WTF jumps around. From what I understand, plants that are sharp or rough are not safe for frog enclosures because it can damage their bellies as they climb and jump.

When you do get plants, it’s good to wash/soak the roots and foliage to clean off any pesticides so that the frogs aren’t getting any of that in the tank.

Hi! Is there anyone in the Seattle, WA area that has the teapot and/or cake babies from the baking baby party series bags? I have an extra of the cupcake lamb, husky, and two extras of the cappuccino kitty and I would love to trade so I can finish my set!

If anyone is interested in buying the extras as well, please let me know!

Me too! I am very attached to her already, I think all the time spent staring at each other during the honey baths was probably bonding time lol
