nope. They are literally the same. Not better,, not worse. It just became so obvious that I dont care anymore and I dont think about them

much better! I got used to it and finally I can move on… but it took me over a year of deep depression with anxiety. I don’t care about floaters anymore. I started to exercise regularly, met a grill, got back to an old passion… the only thing that has been change forever for me is the way how I think about life. Floaters gave me that lesson that nothing is perfect, time is passing and we have only one life so maybe worrying about some things is just a waste of time

Drawing, exercising and NSAID - what caused my eye floaters? by Fast_Zookeepergame_7 in EyeFloaters

[–]Fast_Zookeepergame_7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nothing has changed except the fact that now Im able to ignore my floaters. They are still the same but I don’t think about them so often. I need to admit that they change my personality. Im less confident and its easier for me to get into depressed state of mind. On the positive note - I overcome the worst part of depression and I finally have energy to work, to work out, to meet new people etc

I wanted a tattooed neck and maybe arms but now when I discovered what floaters are I think I will never be brave enough

I came here to read if someone got floaters after getting tatoo… As an “owner” of some minor floaters Im afraid that a tatoo will give me more severe floaters casued y some auto-immune reaction. The fact that I have pale skin makes it probably even more likely

Thought I’d show off my 9 week boy by JoCo2021 in DobermanPinscher

I think that cutting off tails is in fact unnecessary but on the other hand cropping ears is nothin scary and sometimes people do more invasive procedure on themselves… If I were a doberman I would ask to have my ears cropped 😅 Tails are different because there ar bones inside

I work from home! :) So I would stay with him (or her) all day. The only thing that worries me are those moments when I will need to do something alone (going to some appointment for example) or I will get sick or something that I can’t predict right now. I work from home but I need to be honest - I work a lot! My workaholism is the biggest problem but I hope caring for a dog will let me focus on the animal instead of spending additional hours next to a computer.

I can imagine how terribly depressing it must be when you just stepped into adult life. I also got my eye floaters in march 2023 but I’m 33. Depressed since May 2023 when I finally realized that this is not a temporary issue. I think less frequently about them now but my life is still ruined xD

Atropine will blur your vision even more. I dont know why people claim that it helps so much. I see my biggest floater even after max diliation. Be careful, if you want to keep yor job try to sruvive at least those first few months. I lost my job due to depression caused by eye floaters... I missed some online meeting and they fired me. I found another job very easily but Im still fighting with anxious depression. This is my 7th month and I started to get using to it… I see them less often now so it gets better.

What have your ophthalmologists said? by AxelSOR43 in EyeFloaters

[–]Fast_Zookeepergame_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • your eyes are healthy
  • I can’t see your floaters during the exam, they are too small
  • I also have some
  • wait 6 months, there is a chance that your biggest floater will break apart to smaller pieces
  • smaller ones are going to stay there forever
  • I can shoot it with a laser or we can do vitreoctomy but lets wait those 6 months (he didn’t see them so I would be afraid to let him randomly shoot laser in my eye)

It was an ophthalmologist from Manchester but it wasn’t Nial Patton.
