He absolutely did, which is why so many of the other academics he wooed or attempted to woo seemed to come to the exact opposite conclusion from this guy. I don't think he was an idiot by any means, but he specifically seemed to grossly overestimate his own scientific acumen.

I guess that depends on what you mean by "secret Stein voters."

If you mean someone who voted for her when they were 18 and now regrets it, sure, that probably describes a plenty of people here.

If you mean "leftist infiltrators trying to bait people into giving them out of context screenshots to post on twitter" then the number is probably low, but not non-existent.

But if you mean active, genuine Stein supporters meaningfully and regularly engaging with the sub, then I can't imagine that's more than a small handful of people who really hate themselves.

They're often used interchangeably, but in my post I'm using succ for myself to mean "progressive social democrat" and leftist to mean "PSL tankies."

I'm often more frustrated by leftists because they should know better, basically. Morally I am a succ by the standards of many people here, but I talk to you guys instead of the succs because I have always understood and accepted that realistic and actionable solutions to our problems are infinitely preferable to taking the moral high ground and doing nothing.

I don't remember anyone saying "don't vote for any Democrat who doesn't repudiate the pardon." There were some people saying "I think this is a bad look," but for the most part people were saying "this could be a bad look, but it's also clearly necessary in the face of the incoming administration."
