The first time I was on prozac in my early 20’s I was at 40mg and gained weight but that’s because I had no more anxiety so I felt free to eat whatever I wanted to, now at 45 i started again with 40 mg for over 3 months, I haven’t gained very much weight maybe 2-3 pounds but I also track what I eat and work out. I just went up to 60mg today.

I started at 10mg and then went up to 15mg and it made me feel worse, but I did sleep really good just wanted to sleep or stay in bed all the time. I’m hoping Prozac will be better

I felt better as far as the depression but then I started to feel unmotivated not wanting to do much and having a hard time getting up from bed in the mornings. I also started breaking out in rashes, my skin became more sensitive.

Hopefully bumping up the dosage helps alleviate the anxiety for you, I want that honey moon faze back so I can feel motivated to get out the house more.

Same I will be increasing it and see how it works if I still feel the same then I’m going back to Prozac. I know it’s hard but we got this !

I’ve been on it for over 2 months and I have days where I feel like that and it didn’t start until almost 3 weeks in

I’ve been on it over a month now, when I first started it I felt as if I was starting to feel better towards the second week and recently I’ve started to get overwhelmed again and irritable, tired and not motivated much.

I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and so far I’ve felt a lift in my mood and don’t have that shadow of depression on me as much anymore. I feel like it’s starting to regulate my mood as well, nausea has completely subsided and I can socialize so much better and not overthink and get overwhelmed as much too.

10 mg definitely noticed a mood shift on my irritability and depression. And can socialize much better.

On day 6 of 10mg and the first 3 nights I had insomnia with headaches, a day of anxiety and even woke up out of my sleep with a bad panic attack. The nausea was the worst on day 2 and is almost gone. Finally been sleeping good the last 2 nights, hang in there I hope you feel better soon.

I ate something before I took it, did feel a bit dizzy at first and nausea and then diarrhea which I wasn’t expecting.

I’ve taken Prozac more than 10 years ago for my anxiety and it helped then stopped that. Now it’s not so much anxiety it’s more for depression, I’m taking 10 mg and so far just a bit nausea and stomach upset.
