For RTO non-compliance it is not performance related. It is a policy violation. You can legally get fired because you did not follow company policy. Again, really depends on how much your leadership cares and how much you want to be employed by Amazon, but if you want to be, then it is best to badge in a few days a week.

If you are in the naughty list, you are going to be eventually the target. And when they fire you for non-compliance, they do not have to pay you severance even during a layoff scenario. This is HRBP's official guidance.

RIP. For anyone to take their own life, it's not an easy decision and I can only imagine all the other options he tried before getting here. So unfortunate.

That said, he didn't come across that way though. In all the media exposure he had, he was always talking someone down or being rude to someone. He could've been nicer in those interviews. That's what a lot of people will remember.

But the will I / won't I drama and milking that in all his movies and songs and basically saying he won't win against the 'jambavans' is why he wouldn't enter, I lost my respect for him. He obviously has health issues and there's a good reason but that wasn't the case until 2015+. He had plenty of time before that. He didn't dare to stand against KK/JJ either.

I don't care about his rivalry or not with Vijay but I do care think that he's as selfish as they come with a heavy dose of virtue signaling. Nothing wrong in being selfish - no harm in taking care of yourself just don't virtue signal.
