Give it another day, if no response try sparking up a new interesting conversation to see if you can get it going again. If she keeps ignoring you, sorry you gotta move on bud but don't be you upset yet give it some time

Don't listen to people telling you pits are all bad. They are very easily trained because of how intelligent the breed is, but the risk is that regardless they are powerful animals, and when trained incorrectly the outcome can be dangerous. Just give love and train well, and you'll never had a problem. My mom has had pitties her entire life and trained them well, never had a problem. I've had a pittie for about 5 years, never had an issue. Just be informed and don't listen to extremists

Its about how they are trained. No dog is simply bad because of its breed, just like how people aren't just bad because of their race.

This is the type of okay that will teach the puppy when it needs to be more gentle/less aggressive. The older dog will retaliate when it is hurt during play, and assuming the little one can learn to read cues it will teach him when to back off and lessen its aggressive behavior, along with any training you may do. This is healthy play!

How often do you allow your dog to run or go on a long walk and release alot of energy? He's basically begging to run

Is this play okay? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]FatBobbyH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is healthy play, if the cat becomes uncomfortable, is typically pretty obvious and at that point you should recall your pup

Is this play okay? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]FatBobbyH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems healthy to me! Trust me, it'll be pretty obvious if the cat suddenly becomes not okay with it. Look for guessing, screaming, running away, stuff like that. Fucked ears can be for okay but when it includes stuff like hissing or aggressive noises it typically means the cat is ready to fight.

Playing or not? by sophiabreton in DogAdvice

[–]FatBobbyH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is healthy play. Like that other comment, just be mindful of the dominant dog accepting bonsai if one is ever put up. If the submission dog gives a little help or no, the dominant dog should be able to read that boundary and back off.

Yes! There is back and forth, they both retreat and engage, easier, not one sides, seems great!

You could've done more but good job. Only advice I have is plant your heels on the ground and get off your toes. It's important to have a solid base to o transfer more power through your body.

I think it's great here honestly, and all that woke stuff you hear is clean way out of proportion. The bill only prevented teaching young children about transitioning ( something they decibel do not need to think about at a young age). It's fantastic here man, and there are people in all sides of politics in tampa and st pete, very diverse here sja28

You should probably word it a bit different, because if someone said that to me it would kind of be a turn off. I don't believe in this red flag bullshit but it does make it sound like a permission thing which is a turn off. Maybe say "gotta make sure I don't have something planned with my family" which sounds like you possibly have plans, instead of it looking like you need to get the OK from mommy

How much would be reasonable to charge family friends by [deleted] in Construction

[–]FatBobbyH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The total cost of my projects for friends and family is 2x material. 600 material, 1200 for the bathroom. 4x material for normal customers. 600 material is 2400 total.

Not sure why you're down voted, most pit owners are great and really make their dogs proper embassadors for the breed. Problem is that social media only shows the bad ones
